NEW YORK Police were reviewing video from surveillance cameras in an attempt to identify who trampled to death a Wal-Mart worker after a crowd of post-Thanksgiving shoppers burst through the doors at a suburban store and knocked him down.
Criminal charges were possible, but identifying individual shoppers in Friday's video may prove difficult, said Detective Lt. Michael Fleming, a Nassau County police spokesman.

I think we all know why these comments have been made.
Right...
The original poster, virginiaridgerunner....made the comment that the crowd did not look like McCain supporters and you then commented that he/she played the race card.
So what is it?
The race card. Duh.
Would it have been ok to say they were Hillbillies maybe in Crossville Tennessee were that the case?
No. Because that would be a comment Al Sharpton would make if the crowd was primarily white. QED
There was a time when people fought against K-Mart because it was thought that K-Mart would kill small local businesses.
When the local media was doing the normal “Lowe’s will kill small businesses” schtick I had to laugh. Past experienc told me that the smaller, local hardware store/lumber yards would actually do better in the long run because of such an openning. It’s now been 2 years since Lowe’s openned, right across from WalMart, and the owner of the hardware store/lumber yard that we prefer continues to see an increase in his business. He will often tell my husband to go to Lowe’s for some items, but has found that Lowe’s seems to send him more business than he sends their way.
Large and small businesses of similar natue can, and do, peacefully co-exist with both making money.
There’s money in race baiting, daddy. Follow the money.
Wow.
Comments like those work very to discredit conservatives.
It's not DNA; it's learned attitudes and behaviors. There are just as many examples of Caucasian groups in our country, having this type of behavior passed down through generations.
People with African decent are just as capable as anyone else of civil behavior.
an EMT was in line to return something at our local walmart when a customer went down....the managers all ran over and stood there......she pushed through looked for a pulse and initiated CPR...when he came around and the medics got there she turned the patient over to them and went back to line......the managers came and asked for her name and address...which she was reluctant to give...they told her corporate headquarters was going to want to “thank her”...I expect she got a nice gift card and a letter.
That Drudge photo of hispanics is gut-wrenching BS! If he wants to be a news guy. He needs to report the truth.
Exactly! I know a number of people of African decent who work with me and are highly civilized. When we have certain types of events, my co-workers are just as disgusted by the animal-like behavior. It's about being taught to be civilized, not about skin color.
If you think it’s wrong to say the stampeders were black when the pics clearly show the crowd top be black then you are the one here with the problem rude.
Sorry, maybe you should work on that.
I take it you like the “let’s don’t talk about black problems” sort of conservatism.
Fights against Walmart have appeared in many parts of the country in an effort to save small businesses.
The fact of the matter is, the black community has been disserved by their politicians for two generations. It’s one demographic where the GOP has had opportunity to stress individualism, freedom, and opportunity. They have grossly failed by conceding.
As the DemocRATS have sought to maintain this voting block through more entitlement programs, the black community leaders (Sharpton, Jackson, Farrahkan, etc.) spin this yarn of oppression by white leaders. Now their time is up. I have many black friends who understand the charade. However, when they and whites attempt to reach the government-reliant blacks, they are met with the same Sharpton, Jackson talking points. With the popular election of Obama, it’s time for the entire black community to realize the oppression myth. It will be interesting to see if they do...

Also remember that this WalMart is very close to New York City. NYers are used to rushing around, bumping into large crowds and noisy enviroments. Not making any excuses but factor the above into the equation. These people are a product of the NY city enviroment with a sort of built-in lower level of human desensitivity from living there. Not exactly like a Macon, Ga. pace of living.
Likewise, if you cannot read, there's no use in taking this discussion any farther.
Heard about something like this recently. A group were pulled onstage by the band. One lady was pulled along when her daughter was. When it was time to get offstage, the other people pushed forward to get offstage and the lady was not balanced right, ended up falling face first, smashing her nose.
I read fine hoss and the thread is proof enough.
You think it’s the race card to point out the crowd was black.
It’s not complicated.
Drudge heard from me.
If he doesn’t stick to the truth, he’ll be online Pravda.
The name (Jdimytai Damour) sounds Indian. There is a very large Indian/Guyanese community in Queens, NY. The guy who was killed was from Queens.
FTA:'..."The Incredible Hulk" for $9.' Yup, that's worth trampling to death some poor bastard earning minimum wage.)
