Reminiscent of Students for a Democratic Society and their terrorist offshoot, The Weather Underground.

"While multiple outlets have reported that a group called the Deccan Mujahideen have claimed responsibility for the attacks, Rediff.com reports that police and the Intelligence Bureau are not ruling out the involvement by the Indian Mujahideen, an offshoot of the Students Islamic Movement of India [SIMI]."

Students Islamic Movement of India (SIMI)

The Students Islamic Movement of India (SIMI), proscribed under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, 1967, is an Islamist fundamentalist organization, which advocates the ‘liberation of India’ by converting it to an Islamic land. The SIMI, an organisation of young extremist students has declared Jihad against India, the aim of which is to establish Dar-ul-Islam (land of Islam) by either forcefully converting everyone to Islam or by violence.

Formation:

The SIMI was formed at Aligarh in the State of Uttar Pradesh on April 25, 1977. Mohammad Ahmadullah Siddiqi, Professor of Journalism and Public Relations at the Western Illinois University Macomb, Illinois, was the founding President of the outfit. It originally emerged as a student wing of the Jamaat-e-Islami Hind (JIH).

Well Obama needs to take office so that the world will love us and stop all of these attacks.

Yes! We need a Revolution based on peace and love!

"Imperialism. I’m against it, and if Sean Hannity and others were honest, this is the ground they would fight me on. Capitalism played its role historically and is exhausted as a force for progress: built on exploitation, theft, conquest, war, and racism, capitalism and imperialism must be defeated and a world revolution—a revolution against war and racism and materialism, a revolution based on human solidarity and love, cooperation and the common good —must win.

We begin by releasing our most hopeful dreams and our most radical imaginations: a better world is both possible and necessary.

It's noteworthy that Obama has not undertaken direct diplomacy with "our foes" as demanded in the third point of his foreign relations position on his website.

Guess he thinks a bunch of Islamofascists attacking hotels in Mumbai is "above his paygrade" or something.

I think Obama should be dispatched immediately to downtown Mumbai to take care of this problem!

Sooner or later, all Islamic people are going to be called to account for the actions of their terrorist brethren; it will not be a pretty sight, but every day that they permit this sort of behavior to be planned in their midst and carried out in the name of their most high, their culpability increases. They can hardly say that they did not know what was going on. They know, and they snicker behind their handkerchiefs, wink at one another, and sometimes rather openly rejoice when Islamic terrorism occurs. What goes around comes around.

How about soon? If the rest of the world is expected to
tolerate this evil religion it is necessary that Muslims
clean up their own act. I’m way past any benefit of doubt.

I have the same question. We need to get rid of these slime bag groups. People claim freedom of speech.....bull....this stuff is against everything we know and love in this country. Their only aim is to tear us down.

There apparently is also a big Maoist/communist-terror problem in India.

The 'business' of Maoist movement in India

April 24, 2008

Financing a 'revolution' is not child's play. It is all the more tough when the organisation is proscribed and hence operates underground.

For the Indian Maoists, also known as Naxalites, the conditions are a little more unfavourable because they claim to be fighting for the deprived and neglected sections of society who are poor.

And the Maoists do not enjoy the support of the affluent.

But still the Maoists are being able to collect and manage vast sums of money. According to a media report of April 9, 2008, the annual 'extortion' by the Maoists is a whopping Rs.1,000 crore.

India's Maoist insurgents kill 54 in raid on police outpost
Henry Chu, Los Angeles Times

Friday, March 16, 2007

New Delhi -- Communist rebels besieged a police outpost in eastern India on Thursday, killing 54 people and wounding nearly a dozen more before fleeing into the surrounding jungle under cover of darkness.

The early morning raid was one of the bloodiest attacks in years by the so-called Naxalites, Maoist insurgents who have waged an armed campaign against the Indian government for the past four decades. Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has called the group the nation's No. 1 threat to public security.

India playing with Maoist fire
By Sultan Shahin

NEW DELHI - India appears to be taking a big gamble with Maoist insurgents. Encouraged by the central government in Delhi, the ruling Congress-led coalition government in the state of Andhra Pradesh has removed a nine-year-old ban on the People's War Group (PWG), which was recently put on a terrorist watch list by the United States.

From the Revolutionary Communist Party (RCP):

Maoist Organizations Unite in India
Revolutionary Worker #1200, May 25, 2003, posted at rwor.org

On January 15, the Maoist Communist Center and the Revolutionary Communist Center, India (Maoist), issued a communiqué "wholeheartedly declaring before the toiling people of India" that they have united to form a single group. "Our united organization will be based on Marxism-Leninism-Maoism and remain firmly committed to the long-cherished need of the great Indian people to carry forward and complete the New Democratic revolution," the statement said.

The united party, now called Maoist Communist Center (India), is a participant in the Revolutionary Internationalist Movement (RIM). The MCC was a participant before; the RCCI (M) was a candidate participant. The two formerly separate groups had been conducting struggles in different Indian states. The MCC had strongholds in Bihar, Jharkhand and West Bengal in the northeast part of the country, and the RCCI (Maoist) in Punjab in the northwest. The people in all these states have a long history of heroic struggle going back to the armed peasant uprising that began in Naxalbari and spread throughout India in the 1960s and '70s, giving birth to India's Maoist movement. Forged in 1969, the MCC had a long history of struggle on the ideological and political fronts, even before its formation. Its founders had taken Maoist China's side in the debate against the revisionists led by Khrushchev, who restored capitalism in the USSR and tried to impose their betrayal of Marx and Lenin on the international communist movement. It upheld the path of protracted People's War and New Democratic Revolution in India and carried out armed struggle. Having undergone twists and turns in its political life and significant line struggles within the Party, it became a participating organization of RIM in 2002.

Note: The Indian Mujahideen (IM) is an offshoot of Students Islamic Movement of India (SIMI).

Terror Crackdown - Post Delhi Blasts, A defining moment?
September 25, 2008

"IM [Indian Mujahideen] was unique in the way that its members were educated youth, many of them even engineers and MBAs. They operated in small and largely independent modules. The anger which Muslims felt after Gujarat riots was used by people like Nagauri to get young , educated members into his unit. He also specifically looked for technically qualified youths and those who had some angst or grudges against the state or police. IM [Indian Mujahideen] also got hooked to LeT (Lashkar e Toiba) which helped it with initial trainings and funds. Trainings were conducted in various parts of country in Jungles of Kerala to Karnataka. Recruits were taught to swim, fire pistols, and make bombs. After a camp, these recruits would then fan out to many places and build their network of terror.

Police started the hunt after the bomb blasts in UP and name of IM for first time emerged. Unlike in past, when most of bomb blasts used to be handiwork of Pakistanis, this time evidence was pointing out to homegrown terror groups. As many bomb blats followed in many Indian cities, Police found it tough to crack the cases and it was due to nature of IM and how they operated. Things were also tough for police as the intelligence was scattered and every state police acted independently. The real break came with arrest of Safdar Nagauri a secretary general SIMI from Madhya Pradesh and then later with arrest of Abu Bashar a recruit of IM , soon after Ahmedabad blasts. These two key members provided vital clues in functioning on IM and after Delhi blasts, the proverbial camel's back was broken. There was tremendous hue and cry throughout the country to act tough on terror. The central government which was slack in taking tough steps until now (perhaps thinking that it will upset Muslim community) was jolted out of its reverie. All states were asked to coordinate their efforts, share intelligence and act as one team. The bits and pieces of intelligence collected over the years by various state police were sewn together and sketchy leads were formed, good enough to act upon. And this is how MC Sharma was asked to raid a flat in Delhi which eventually led to killing of 2 suspected IM terrorists and capturing of 2 more. Unfortunately, Sharma who was not wearing his Bullet proof jacket also lost his life. Two suspected terrorists were reported to have escaped during encounter. Sharma was hailed and quite deservingly, a hero, and his funeral was attended by many politician including home minister, who until few days ago was about to be ejected out of his office."

Because we stood by, while OPEN BORDER politicians like Ted Kennedy, John McCain and El Presidente Jorge Bush turned America into an open toilet into which the Turd World deposited their turds.

Time for a "courtesy flush".....the stink is unbearable.
