Palin to Attend Governors Meeting with Obama
Sara Murray reports on politics.
Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin will attend the governors meeting next week with President-elect Barack Obama, her spokesman said this afternoon.
While Bill McAllister, Palins spokesman, said he hadnt spoken to the governor at length about the meeting, he said he expects her to bring up energy issues.
Obviously she wants to communicate Alaskas goals in assisting America with energy independence, McAllister said. That includes drilling for oil as well as expediting a natural gas pipeline.
While Republican Sen. John McCain met with Mr. Obama following McCains presidential defeat, this will be the first time Palin, who was the Republican vice-presidential nominee, has reconnected with her former opponent.

Nick Ayers, executive director of the Republican Governors Association, said the Republican governors are "looking forward to the opportunity [to] meet him and hear about his plans," but that he expects the governors to show up with plenty of ideas of their own.
The governors found out about the meeting Monday, so it's still unclear who will be attending, although no one has "flat out said no," Mr. Ayers said.
Notified yesterday, and already Palin is on it.

NOTE TO GOVERNORS: Send this no-experience, no-nothing clown a memo that people who actually RUN things need a little more notice than a week...then tell him to have his people call your people and schedule something next month...

Sarah will completely destroy Obama in 2012.
Thank God.

that will be a hard sell now that oil is so much lower. But you know it will go up. Nobody wants to be proactive and plan for the long term.

Sorry for the hijack here:
NOTE TO GOVERNORS: Send this no-experience, no-nothing clown a memo that he is currently not holding any official government position, and hopefully never will - regardless, he has no business calling meetings with any public official. You Governors should be having this current non civil servent at your beck and call!

She’s doing just what she has to do, campaigning for Chambliss, attending this meeting, she has to stay active, both in Alaska, and on the national stage. Good for her. I hope that rumored book deal comes through about a week after this conference. That will set the Palin Derangement Syndrome sufferers into a foaming at the mouth frenzy.

Nobody wants to be proactive and plan for the long term. In Sarah's "Turkey Shoot" interview, she made it clear that she warned about the price going down and said that Alaska has prepared for that.
But no one listened to what she was saying, they were too busy watching a worker grind up a live turkey and listening to the agony of it's gobble as it became ground up feathers and turkey guts/meat.
LOL, I still can't get over how stupid some people are.
So, no one but Sarah.

Governors just had a meeting a a few weeks ago. Why would they need another meeting so soon. How many meetings do they have in a year time?
