"For the record, Sarah Palin was far from the feminist ideal. Seriously. I have yet to come across one feminist-identified individual with an iota of support for the woman."

Which says volumes more about modern-day "feminism" than it does about Sarah Palin, Marissa.

According to radical feminists about 70% of females are probably not female. How come we’re the ones who look like ladies and they look like men?

Palin cannot be embraced by feminists because she

didn’t kill Trig and didn’t urge her daughter to kill her baby.

I’ve heard a libfem actually admit that this is why she didn’t like her.

What does supporting infanticide have to do with being a “real” feminist?

NOW nags supported a serial rapist and habitual sexual harasser in the workplace.

They are irrelevant to womens' rights. They are vile.

Feminists said that Sarah Palin was unqualified to be VP because she would be busy raising her children, especially Trig.

I work with some hardcore feminists. They hate it when I point out the fact that their agenda is partly responsible for many of the societal ills they fret and worry about.

And, if I hear another feminist complain about the kids they would’ve set themselves on fire to have, I’ll puke.

/rant ;o)

Not only did Sarah Palin come out against abortion, she walked the walk when it came out that she had a baby with a birth defect that she raised instead of killing AND had a teenaged daughter who was pregnant, did NOT get an abortion, and was NOT disowned.

Abortion is a symptom of what the feminist cause was all about - being able to have sex like men with the equal ability to walk away from consequences.

Thank you. I have heard this in direct terms on liberal forums and have wondered why so many here miss it. It is all about free sex no matter what. I think liberals worship sex (or to be more precise, orgasms). You can see it in their push to have libraries not filter internet porn, pushing for less and less restrictions on public decency, filing lawsuits against pharmacists who won't give them PlanB pills, pushing colleges to have co-ed dorms, introducing and enticing children to sex in "sex ed" classes, and even in their push to legitimatize homosexual behavior.

Take it a step further and declare that there is NO societal ill that hasn't been caused by or exacerbated by a liberal policy or belief.

Seriously, if you're informed enough, they won't be able to provide an example. If they stump you, come here and we'll tell you the answer.

I honestly believe that “faminist” is a modern day euphemism for “b#itchy, preachy malcontent.”

Honestly.

The hypocrisy is that they say they want a woman. They want women to be equal. They do not say that they want a liberal woman. but we all know that is what they want.

So we give them a woman, and then it’s not a liberal woman. So equality goes out the door, and politics comes in. This is hypocrisy.

Free sex is just one of the avenues to destroy the traditional family, and by extension, our whole society.

Satan knows what he’s doing. Strong families teach everyone in them about their relationship with God. Better (for him) that they don’t get to learn.

I said “partly” because pushing an agenda is like pushing a drug...it requires a pusher and a consumer. Their agenda is the recipe for death and destruction of all that makes man beautiful. Agreed. But, the willing portion of the populace who has blindly signed on is responsible for their acquiescence.

Feminists, like environmentalists, are just another bunch of useful idiots that are promoting the Marxist agenda and haven’t the brains to understand the contradictions that surface when they sacrifice their stated cause for the real agenda. It’s like sacrificing women to Bill Clinton’s insatiable sexual appetite and not seeing their own hypocrisy.

no more pandering to feminists. No more talk of Title IX or “breaking the glass ceiling.” If the smartest, strongest conservative happens to be a female then we should consider her. But nobody should be entitled to get the nomination because “now is her time.”

I’m much happier with Palin being one of us rather than a “feminist,” whatever that means. It seems to mean liberal and anti-American.
