Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee says he was surprised by John McCain’s pick of Sarah Palin because he believes the only difference between himself and the Alaska governor is “she looks better in stilettos than I do.”
Reflecting on the Palin pick in an interview with the New Yorker posted Monday, Huckabee told the magazine that “I was scratching my head, saying, ‘Hey, wait a minute. She’s wonderful, but the only difference was she looks better in stilettos than I do, and she has better hair.’”
Huckabee insisted that Palin “was given a pass by some of the very people who said I wasn’t prepared.” “It wasn’t so much a gender issue, but it was like they suddenly decided that everything they disliked about me was O.K,” he said.

I don’t mind Huckabee having a show, as long as it’s on cable access, Godtube or Odyssey, but FOX NEWS?!! What were they thinking?!!

Huckabee Confesses — Cross Dresser in jealous rage.
Freeperes used to love Huckabee but Rush and Sean called him a socialist and said Romney was a true conservative with his Hillary care, gun bans, huge fee increases and cooking to books to transfer a deficit from the state to local governments.
The same thing will happen to Palin.

And she doesn’t have her head up her posterior like he does...
uh, the real difference, Huck, is that Palin had a real, remarkable record of accomplishments in her state in less than 2 years as governor.
I really want to keep my options open for the next presidential election, and support the nominee, whoever he/she is. Huckabee is going to make that really tough (if it’s him)...
It’s too bad that all these whiners complaining about Sarah Palin aren’t spending their time attacking the real enemy, obama and the democrats. My guess is that they figure any negative comment about obama will get them labeled as “racist.” Attacking Sarah is less dangerous, and may even help their miserable careers by attracting favorable comment in the MSM.

He started in on Palin a week or so ago on his show, running that Letterman hit piece clip of her in the kitchen with the house blowing up. The audience wasn’t amused according to a report here.

When I saw him being asked about the show I nearly fell out of my chair, I went straight to the wife and told her and she replied
WHY? with a confused look on her face.
She was not keen on him before the election and even though she did not want Romney she did not like how Huck was going on about Romney and thought he might be a bit bigoted towards another set of Christians who are not like him.
He though only knows the truth to that

These guys who were supposedly on the “short list” (which I never thought included Huck) are sure a whiney bunch. He, Crist, and Ridge have made arses of themselves.
Romney, Pawlenti, and Giuliani have been far more mature and gentlemanly.

look, I voted for Huck in the primary but that doesn’t mean I wanted him to be president. Mccain picked palin because of all the huckabee AND romney voters.
