Operation: Destroy Sarah Palin

Posted on 11/22/2008 7:16:14 AM PST by Lloyd Marcus

Her VP nomination acceptance speech was amazing, energizing and excited millions. She was sharp, wholesome, down to earth, boldly conservative and beautiful. Then, the liberal media, blatantly committed to getting Obama elected, set out to destroy her. “Sarah Palin is stupid” was their mantra. Every late night talk show host, biased liberal TV interviewer, biased liberal newspaper reporter and democrat talking head united to create the paradigm, “Palin is an idiot”.

Suddenly, every word out of Sarah's mouth was under severe scrutiny. Who could survive such a tsunami of attacks on their intellect? Meanwhile, Obama saying the US has 57 states barely drew a mention.

Even the National Organization for Women did not defend Palin. Her Conservative traditional values do not fit their liberal agenda. Palin chose to have her Down Syndrome baby rather than abort it. Sarah proved that a woman can have a thriving family and successful career. She loves and respects her husband without feeling subservient to him. All this rubs the NOW gang the wrong way. But what REALLY ticks them off, Sarah Palin is pretty.

What liberals did to this great woman was vicious and mean. And yet, liberals are perceived as the advocates of women and minorities. Here is the reality. If you're black and become a U.S. Supreme Court Justice via education and hard work rather than Affirmative Action, liberals try to destroy you. If you're a strong woman running for Vice President of the United States, they seek to destroy you for not subscribing to their left ideology.

When will folks “GET IT!” Liberals don't give a hoot about women or minorities. They only worship at the feet of their gods which are Power and Control.

Lloyd Marcus, President NAACPC (National Asso.for the Advancement of Conservative People of Color)

I just heard on ABC news:

“Barack Obama says he will create millions of jobs”
Then Obama said: “We are in a historic crisis”

WTF does that mean?

It means if you aren't gainfully employed on January 20, 2009, Homeland Security will issue you shovel, assign you to a labor battalion, and truck you to the Jesusland Front! :-D

I still have my girl crush.

My wife and daughter too. They each still have "Women for McCain/Palin" bumper stickers on their cars, but modified them to read "Women for Palin".

You know I am stunned by people around here. Would you want a doctor from a small university or would you want the best educated doctor??? What is so wrong about have a superior education. We are a stupid nation if we want someone who can be schmaltsy. Well I guess we have gotten our answer even if we don’t like it. I will be shocked if Sarah is 2012 nomination. I just doubt it will be due to the big push for Hillary in 2008 and that did not go as planned...oh neither did Fred Thompson or Duncan Hunter. We shall see though. I hope we make the right judgement this time. Romney would be the best all around guy.

Even more pathetic that she let the media walk all over her...a degree in journalism? Come on...she was part of the big media...surly she must have known how they operated IF she learned anything in school. Although going through school after school to finally put together enough credits to get a degree would be hard to keep consistent. Oh well we will see the future. I wonder how many colleges the other candidates went through to get their degree???

I was in McDonalds this morning (with my granddaughter, I don't usually go there myself) and overheard the geezers in the front mention Sarah Palin and one of them says "she is so ignorant! How could anyone nominate her to be vice president? She said she could see Russia from her back yard!." Wow, so these guys take a Sat. Night Live sketch and believe it was actually said by Sarah. That is what we are up against.

To his credit, one of the geezers tried to change the subject rather than get into an argument.

A judgement is something you think about before saying or doing. Let’s see...the question was what newspapers or magazines do you read? She thought carefully and made the judgement to say nothing. Now with her journalism degree and journalism background. Is this the methods that she learned that would be positive? I believe that cost her votes....poor judgement. Very easy to find things. I needed no sources as it was very clearly defind to all Americans.

I think it was more that she acted like an air head cheerleader. That is why people are concerned about her not some stupid jealousy. She just needs to get into a library or some classroom and learn...read as much as she can...maybe write some intelligent papers if possible (she does have a degree in journalism) and just devour as much information as she can in the next two years and come out stronger than she is now. That is her only hope. Perhaps getting a Master’s Degree would be helpful...it will broaden her perspective on things.

Tearing down the new shining light of real conservatism to promote Romney, we have seen it all too often here at FR.

That working class woman got her degree and she was a conservative then as well, as was her school teacher parents.

That was the Reagan years wasn’t it 1982 to 1987, a time when your candidate registered as independent because he couldn’t stand President Reagan’s conservatism, he then followed that by giving money solely to liberal, democrat candidates to help in their races against republicans in various states.

Washington is full of Ivy-Leaguers and they’ve just about destroyed this country. Peddle this stuff somewhere else. And for the record, I graduated from a prestigious private university and I couldn’t care less about her lack of the “proper” education. Citizen politicians like Gov. Palin are about the only hope we have left.

This website in not a pro-Sarah website so perhaps you can find one. I am sure there are some out there or you could start one. This is a website that discusses conservative politics both positive and negatives. This also means that you discuss the negatives of conservative politicians and Sarah has some. Surely you are not saying that Sarah is perfect. She has a degree in journalism and did not know how to handle the journalist. She could not answer easy questions that perhaps her herself as a journalist in her first job asked interviewers. That is what is so crazy is she let her peers stump her...I just don’t understand that.

Well that is the problem for you on this website. You don’t like any negative perspective from the holy candidates that are decided on here. I kept my mouth shut during the election as the pro McCainers would not all negativity about how her campaign was going. I voted for McCain as I am a Republican and did not want to see the country in the hands of Obama. What people did here by not allowing decent is ensure that what we ended up with was the very worst option and that is Obama. Now we want Sarah to be the candidate in 2012...that is actually fine with me but for that to happen she will have to change some things that she did wrong in the McCain election. Is that really unfair to discuss what she needs to do? I really don’t think so.

Governor Palin is actually in office and has been for twelve years winning election, after election, she is recognized as a dynamic, effective leader and Governor, and in fact is the most popular Governor in America, her numbers before September being in the high 80s and low 90s.

Your guy has pulled off one measly little shot at elective office, no reelection, and he didn’t exactly make a big splash in office, in fact he finished with about 43% approval numbers I believe.
