Was Leo Donofrio's case fast tracked at SCOTUS today?!? Emergency review like Bush V. Gore?

Posted: Nov.20.2008 @ 9:20 pm | Lasted edited: Nov.20.2008 @ 9:31 pm US SUPREME COURT TAKES EXTRAORDINARY EXPEDITED ACTION IN FAST TRACKING NJ CITIZEN SUIT CHALLENGING '08 PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION.

I am awaiting clarification from the Clerk's office at the United States Supreme Court as to whether my stay application has now been accepted in lieu of a more formal full petition for certiorari (and/or mandamus or prohibition). Such a transformation is a rare and significant emergency procedure. It was used in Bush v. Gore, a case I have relied on in my brief.

We do know the case has certainly been "DISTRIBUTED for Conference", a process usually reserved for full petitions of certiorari. Stays are usually dealt with in a different manner. As to a stay application, a single Justice may; a) deny the stay; b) grant the stay; c) refer the stay to the full Court.

The biggest story ever that no one knows about.

I'd first love to see Obama disqualified. Almost as good would be seeing the MSM with egg on their collective faces - by having the public clammoring as to why this suit was never reported.

” sets a rather dangerous precedent.”

What “dangerous precedent”? That the People have the right to sue to enforce the Constitution?

Our professional field placed us from a very blue non gun friendly state to a very red rural area for a few years.

Guns were more common than toasters and since we had kids, it scared the heck out of me. My kids would have been the dangerous ones since they have only seen them on TV.

I called the NRA. Then sent me out their Eddie Eagle series. My kids loved that cartoon bird more the Disney. I don’t know why that NRA material is not part of a school’s curriculum.

“...allowing this suit to move forward sets a rather dangerous precedent.”

Are you kidding? NOT allowing this to move forward sets a more dangerous precedent.

If he’s ineligible, it’ll make the Watts riots look like midget boxing. Buy as much ammo as you can afford. If you’re not armed, better get going!

Good advice, no matter what the outcome.

Hussein actually could be perpetuating this whole thing, and may be able to prove he was legal to run. We’re learning that proponents of socialism and communism count on chaos in the citizenry in order to bring in their programs and then thrive. This could be his plan.

Well technically you can start your own Internet radio show for peanuts. The Internet radio shows can be played on your computer like a radio. You need Windows media player or any other free player. Chances are you already have a player on your machine.

You click on the site, turn on your speakers and off you go. The two that had Leo on were Plains Radio and Lam Lanphere’s Overnight AM show. Leo was interviewed at 8 pm or 9 pm on Plains and 10 pm on Lan’s shows. Lan and Leo seemed to have hit it off.

Plains talkers include Ed Hale, Jim Thunder and a few others. Another fellow name Strang also had Leo on (see archive link for his show on Leo’s site). This is real grassroots stuff. You can post and read messages on a chat board as you listen to the show.

The regular AM radio show hosts have chickened out on this story. The Internet radio folks sent letters to the Justices because Leo was being sabotaged by a clerk at SCOTUS named Danny Bickle. Lan Lamphere called the clerk and told him he would be famous with 2 million people the next day. The clerk pushed the paperwork through within a few minutes.

http://www.plainsradio.com/
Click on Listen Live and Chat

I will try to find the right link to Lam Lamphere’s Over Night AM to click on to stream the show.

An amazing story. Retired attorney and now poker player from NJ puts together a case in a few days because of Constitutional concerns. Gets the run around at NJ courts and Supreme Court. Is helped by average Americans in the heartland listening to Internet radio because the MSM and AM radio are in O’s pocket. I feel like we are listening to Voice of America in a communist country now.

It was some of the best radio I ever listen to as Leo talked passionately about American retaking power and protecting The Constitution. Very inspiring stuff.

The conservative AM talk show hosts have chickened out.

The shows are archived and links are on Leo’s site http://www.blogtext.org/naturalborncitizen/

I think if this story did NOT have legs, the MSM would be all over it. The fact that they (the MSM) are not reporting on it tells me enough to know that THEY know this IS a big deal.

If it was pre-Nov 4 and McCain eligibility was in question, can you imagine the headlines? They probably even would've quit reporting about Palin's clothes for a while!

“God Bless these American Patriots, both liberals and conservatives, for standing up for our country and our Constitution.”

Yes; God bless these patriots for honoring the sacrifices of the patriots in the 1700s, and the heroes and patriots following. Many of them sacrificed families, fortunes, and their lives to make, and keep, us free. Not be blasphemous, but I believe our Constitution was inspired by God.

“If a citizen can sue a president elect, then why can’t I sue any government official?”

If he ran and won fraudulently, then he isn’t actualy President-Elect. So don’t worry your little head about it.

You misread my intent.

You misread the case.

If a citizen can sue a president elect

The president elect is not the one being sued - it's the NJ Secretary of State who is being sued.

All Obama has to do to stop the lawsuits is provide his COLB. Any American citizen has to show one to get a passport or a Social Security number.

Or to be able to apply for a job. If I have to show proof to get a low level job, the President of the United States certainly should have to.

“Is it even verified that That One’s grandmother raised him?”

If raised in Hawaii, and he was the first child, it’s probable. When I lived there I heard that it’s common practice for a mother to turn over a child — the oldest, I think — to a grandmother to raise. The practice even has a name, but I can’t remember what it is. (It’s been a while; I believe this is the way I heard it.)

This could be his plan.

Well, that *could* be his plan. I had considered that myself a time ago. However, it would show a complete lack of fiscal responsibility at this point to spend nearly a million dollars in legal expenses to hide a $10 birth certificate. In a troubled economy, that kind of waste is a hard sell for any national "leader" -- and I am using the term "leader" loosely at this point. I can't imagine at this stage of the game that his team is unintelligent to the point of thinking they'll have the last laugh by producing evidence of natural-born status, after wasting so much money trying to suppress it. No, I think something is rotten and his team is busy using that never ending supply of liberal and foreign money to suppress the smell at any expense. And if he assumes the office, the middle class will disappear paying his creditors back.
