On election night in Minneapolis, Minnesota, a blue state, comes a criminal horror story short of murder, but no less disturbing. It happened at Augsburg college, a private liberal arts school named after a place in Germany the reformer monk Martin Luther served in the 1500s.
After taunting 18-year old freshman Annie Grossmann for wearing her McCain-Palin campaign button at an election night get-together, and "getting in her face," four women beat her for political views which, obviously, they did not share. Grossmann took verbal abuse at the party, then left for her dorm after it was clear, about 10 p.m., that her candidates had lost. She was followed by the four women into the shadows of a nearby skyway.
There she was beaten. The four women, all black, called Grossmann a "racist." She knew none of them. Nor did they know her, to her knowledge. It was that damn campaign button that evidently caused their frenzy. Their earlier taunts proved that. They were, Grossmann said, "rubbing her face in Obama's win."
"Why do you call me a racist when you don't even know me?" she screamed. Made no difference. Grossmann was felled by the largest of the four. She hit her head on the brick wall, and staggered back to her dorm. The other three black women at the beating chucked at this dark manifestation of partisan evil. They walked away laughing, offering no help to their victim. The banality of evil had asserted itself. And at four-to-one, it was also a cowardly act of mindless violence which, presumably, the four thought "normal."

To accurately describe how it really, truly makes me feel; how I'd prefer to act upon said feelings; and which common Home Depot tools and supplies might be best suited to such an undertaking, would doubtless get me banned from this site immediately, and for life.

Even as the results were still coming, “CHANGE” was already hitting that outdated white man’s concept of “Minnesota Nice”.

This kind of ‘wolf-packing’ used to take place in my old schools back in the 60’s and early 70’s. The white kids were always victims and were terrified. Guess what? I fought back then and I will do it again. Once youstand up to bullies, they learn pretty quickly who not to mess with.
btw, ME-chelle reminds me of one of the lead instigators back in my school days, angry for no damn reason.

How vile. I wonder how many other incidents like this have occurred around the country. No big national headlines though. No apology from the president of the university. Meanwhile this handful of cases where students or others say anything slightly offensive to Obama is turned into a big story. I am not surprised at all.
I had a similar incident happen to me. Since I was running low on cash for the month, I decided to ride my bike to the Saint Paul suburb of Rosedale, MN to buy a hockey helmet.
Since I forgot to bring my backpack with me, I had to wear my hockey helmet. I was wearing my Minnesota Golden Gophers hockey jersey, so he automatically (And may I indeed add, correctly) assumed that I was a whitewashed oreo who enjoyed hockey and voted for McCain. He replied to me “McCain wears a helmet too” because I was wearing my helmet. I responded to the idiot “Unless you’re tough enough to play hockey, don’t ever insult somebody.” The loud gentleman shut up.
It’s sadly funny that the left/blacks claim that it is impossible for blacks to be racist because they “lack the power to impose their racism”.
Yeah, right - 4 on 1, 6 on 1, etc, “lack power to impose their racism”.
Does anyone know what, if anything, has happened to the Obamathugs? I haven’t read that they’ve been identified, arrested, whatever.
