Unbelievable answers. These Obama supporters had no clue about US Government, Congressmen, or even which party currently controls Congress!
How is that unbelieveable? What surprises me is that some supposedly intelligent people voted for him.
I was just about to post this...glad I checked the sidebar. WOW! Although it’s just a selection of responses and a small sampling, it’s really quite impressive.

IMO, there oughta be a rudimentary quiz given at the polls; you don’t pass, you don’t vote.

Pew did an exhaustive report of whose audience was best and worst inforrmed (Limbaugh listeners extremely well-informed). But 54% of the Stewart Show watchers identified the wrong party as controlling Congress.
They could have done better flipping coins. PROOF that watching Stewart actually makes people stupid!
My husband was out of town for a business dinner (in Toledo, Ohio—Joe the Plumber territory!!)), a couple of days after the election. He and his client were discussing politics and trying to understand just why anyone would vote for “The One”. The waitress come up to them and supposedly, according to my husband, noticed they were talking about the election. She said “Oh - are you talking about the election?”... my husband said, “Yes, we are...can we ask who you voted for?”. The waitress said - “Well, I normally don’t talk politics much, but I’m just so excited that Obama won!”
My husband, trying not to let on how he felt about the matter, right away said, “Oh - and can you name just one reason why you voted for Obama?”.
The waitress said, “Well - I REALLY like that he is “Pro-Life”.....
....sorry about my “long-winded” way of telling this story...but the point being......she didn’t have a CLUE!!!

57.4% could NOT correctly say which party controls congress (50/50 shot just by guessing)
81.8% could NOT correctly say Joe Biden quit a previous campaign because of plagiarism (25% chance by guessing)
82.6% could NOT correctly say that Barack Obama won his first election by getting opponents kicked off the ballot (25% chance by guessing)
88.4% could NOT correctly say that Obama said his policies would likely bankrupt the coal industry and make energy rates skyrocket (25% chance by guessing)
56.1% could NOT correctly say Obama started his political career at the home of two former members of the Weather Underground (25% chance by guessing).
And yet.....
Only 13.7% failed to identify Sarah Palin as the person on which their party spent $150,000 in clothes
Only 6.2% failed to identify Palin as the one with a pregnant teenage daughter
And 86.9 % thought that Palin said that she could see Russia from her “house,” even though that was Tina Fey who said that!!
Only 2.4% got at least 11 correct.
Only .5% got all of them correct. (And we “gave” one answer that was technically not Palin, but actually Tina Fey)
My white guilt wouldn’t allow me to vote for his cracker side.

Have you ever listened to Glen Becks radio show on Fridays during football season? You should enlighten yourself sometime if you’ve never tuned in before.
Basically he exposes the complete ignorance of the people allowed to vote in this country.
I had to stop listening on Fridays cause it only irked me knowing these morons were voting.
Lets face it, we here at FR are the only smart ones left.
We are soooo screwed.
This is just plain scary.
