Sarah Palin to speak at CPAC
Just got off the phone with Lisa DePasquale, director of the Conservative Political Action Conference, who tells me that Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin is confirmed as a speaker at CPAC 2009, Feb. 26-28 at the Omni Shoreham Hotel in Washington, DC.

Hubba Hubba!
Where do I pick up me complimentary tickets?
Gee I hope Perry does not cut her off again!
Doubt they’ll be free, my friend. But, buy now- and I bet you can engage in free enterprise and sell them at a huge profit—if for whatever Earthly reason you should decide not to go. -:)
ohhhhhhhhhhyeaaaaaahhhh!!!!!
Good. Sarah has no intention of going away (despite all the helpful advice from pundits like Krauthammer who wants her to retreat into an igloo and read the New York Review of Books.)
Gov. Palin knows that things would have been different if she had not had a running mate that pulled her down!
With her history of drawing big crowds, I hope they plan on having it someplace that can accomodate a lot of people. Go Sarah!!
Good news. This is a big moment for Sarah and I expect a lot from her. Ronald Reagan gave several great speeches at CPAC on his way to the White House.
His speech is one for the ages!
I hope Sarah knocks this one out of the ball park too.
Krauthammer has the thesis that Palin cost McCain his experience card when he beat Obama on experience 93-7, a more overwhelming margin than Obama beat him by on change. Yeah, she really hurt him there.
Hopefully in 2012 Palin has the same thing going for her that Reagan did in 1980...a failed liberal President who’s incompetence and uneptitude is beyond all doubt.
Position Rick Perry over the trap door.
bump
If Sarah P, can get to the lower 48 twice a year in
high level conservative gatherings, it will be enough to
keep her in at the top of the list for 2012.
DC ping
Sadly, the minds of the voting public have changed quite a bit since 1980. But here’s hoping a true conservative like Sarah can still win.
FYI
true, but if Obama screws up as much as Carter, any Republican will have a very good chance, just as any dem had a great chance this year
Not to take away from this thread, but....
You should know that news from 11-07-08 from some blog DOES NOT belong in Breaking News.
EVEN IF YOU DO POST THE HEADLINE IN ALL CAPS!!!!!!
Carry on.
