Non-partisan parties have already examined the Hawaiian certificate and said it’s authentic.

>>>Never happened<<<

Sure it did. Right here: Born in the U.S.A. O.K., I know the detractors are going to sputter, "B-B-BUT IT'S NOT A LONG-FORM, "VAULT" CERTIFICATE!!!" Well, guess what? A short form is good enough for the State Department, it is good enough that nobody with a reputation to uphold be it McCain, Palin, Hillary, Rush, Hannity, etc. brought up the issue and, most importantly, it will be good enough for about 99.9% of America to accept that Obama is eligible to be president (whether we're happy about this or not).

Chasing this ghost detracts from the real issue: How did the Republican brand become so tarnished that it was soundly rejected by the majority of American voters and what can Republicans do to correct this in the future. Pursuing this birth certificate garbage makes us look like sore losers (and conspiracy nuts) and this isn't going to help win future elections. We have congress in 2010 to think about. That's where we should be focused. This won't go anywhere.

A short form is good enough for the State Department...

Maybe, maybe not. You say so, but I have experience to the contrary.

The DMV will accept a driver's license. So what?

Here we have apples and oranges in abundance, along with a bushel of manure.

Why settle for the manure? I don't believe for a second that a court of jurisdiction will settle for anything less than best evidence.

Yeah, quote that FactCheck, comrade! Manufacturer of Propaganda! Try quoting THE person better:

Director Chiyome Fukino said.

Her quote which can be reviewed at Hawaii's KGMB news is as follows:

"State law (Hawai'i Revised Statutes §338-18) prohibits the release of a certified birth certificate to persons who do not have a tangible interest in the vital record," said DOH Director Chiyome Fukino.

"Therefore, I as Director of Health for the State of Hawai'i, along with the Registrar of Vital Statistics who has statutory authority to oversee and maintain these type of vital records, have personally seen and verified that the Hawai'i State Department of Health has Sen. Obama's original birth certificate on record in accordance with state policies and procedures."

ON RECORD is a lot different now, huh?

This won't go anywhere.

And they say us conservatives are lacking a "pair" and we always roll over and play dead while the Dems trample all over us, stealing votes, breaking the law and laughing in our faces.

Thanks for aiding and abetting by providing them written evidence of that.

Here's your flag:

FactCheck.org is funded or was started by Annenberg...which Obama was invlved with. I would NOT say it is “non-partisan.”

If that is truly what interests you, then we have threads on that. I hope you go there and leave this one to us, ‘conspricy nuts’.

Not true. That was later found to be fake.

I guess it all depends what what news source you want use, and where (date and time) you draw the line to stop investigating in regards to this issue.

Obama has yet to provide proof that he is a natural born citizen. There are other issues as well. Obama has still not provided proof that he meets the qualifications required by LAW to run for and hold the office of POTUS.

Why else would he need two teams of lawyers to hand over a simple piece of paper?

He's hiding something, and it disqualifies him and he knows it.

Born Aug. 4, 1961. I wonder what kind of typrwriter they had that produced such nice clean letters and numbers, not the blank form, the entries such as the date of birth, name, etc.:

Sorry for the giant image, couldn't find a smaller one at the source.

The short form is certainly good enough to establish citizenship. It is not enough to establish "natural-born".

The Presidency is the only position that requires "natural born", so it's not correct to claim that a form "good enough" for a driver's license, passport, etc. is sufficient.

Factcheck=Annenburg=Ayers leftist propoganda

http://deathby1000papercuts.com/2008/10/obama-bill-ayers-and-factcheckorg-all-have-ties-to-annenberg-foundation/

Exerpt: "How many people are aware that Senator Obama has ties to Factcheck.org, the “non-partisan” political “fact checking” site, vis-a-vis the Annenberg Foundation? Or that the controversies surrounding Obama, such as his ties to Bill Ayers, a former member of the violent Vietnam War era Weather Underground terrorist group, and the veracity of Obama’s “birth certificate” are both linked to Factcheck and Annenberg."

Answer: Lots of Freepers.
