The California secretary of state should refuse to allow the state's 55 Electoral College votes to be cast in the 2008 presidential election until President-elect Barack Obama verifies his eligibility to hold the office, alleges a California court petition filed on behalf of former presidential candidate Alan Keyes and others.
The legal action today is just the latest is a series of challenges, some of which have gone as high as the U.S. Supreme Court, over the issue of Obama's status as a "natural-born citizen," a requirement set by the U.S. Constitution.
WND senior reporter Jerome Corsi even traveled to Kenya and Hawaii prior to the election to investigate issues surrounding Obama's birth. But his research and discoveries only raised more questions.
The biggest question is why Obama, if a Hawaii birth certificate exists, simply hasn't ordered it made available to settle the rumors.

I honestly don’t know Keyes’ soul—that is between him and God. I do know that too much hate and anger WILL rot your soul and so I try to maintain a positive outlook. Not only is each of us a temple of the Holy Spirit, we need to see the same in each other. That is why I try, and TRY is the operative word, to release hate. I certainly disagree with Obama’s politics, and I do think he is capable of lies for political gain. But I don’t think everything he touches is tainted and I don’t hate him.
What the HELL are you babbling about? Your posts make no sense, and I started clicking on the “to” funtion and backing up...and they STILL don’t make sense.
I still do not see any reason why the grandparents would want to ensure that he was a NATURAL BORN citizen. He could very well have been naturalized at any time—why the necessity to falsify a birth announcement. It does not make sense to me.
I understand you may disagree.
You really think I’m pro Obama?! Then you really will believe anything! ;)
She was obese, in denial or both. I’ve dealt with all three types of cases before, and it’s all overlap.
You are pro obama, give him a chance, the most dangerous kind!
We have no proof of anything.
Someone might, but the public does not.
It is a known fact that very little is known.
When people in high positions are less than forthcoming about matters that should be common knowledge, is it any wonder that some people try to fill in the gaps? And whose fault is it? Those who try to figure things out because they aren’t told basic information that they need as citizens? Or those who withhold? Obviously I think it is the latter.
She was in denial. Her periods were always sporadic and she had recently lost her dad. She married the guy and it ended up happily.
More situps and a 16 hour plane ride to a third world country are really not comparable. It is highly unlikely that O’s mom would just head off to Kenya for grins. I doubt her mother would have let her, if she was anything like a lot of grandma’s to be!
I am willing to consider the facts and see what seems plausible—some of this might have some validity, to be sure, but there seems to be so much piling on of part-truths and conjecture that the nugget inside is lost. If we are willing to contort ourselves to believe rather outlandish things in order to get to the base truth—that Obama is ineligible to be president—it weakens the entire case, even the plausible parts.
It would not be an "everyday" occurrence in 1961 that a beautiful young white girl would deliver a "black" baby!!!
Wouldn't you think that would be a kind of sensation (scandal) that anyone in the hospital would notice and remember???
She went through that pregnancy hardly noticing and the birth was like a tooth being pulled.
Excellent point! Black baby white underage mom. No one remembers.
My only point is that the certificate WAS released. The short form is standard in Hawaii. I just wonder if the long form were released, would anyone really believe it?
I do really find this whole thing fascinating. I honestly don’t care that you all think Obama is ineligible, but I am a stickler for intellectual honesty. I think there might be a kernel of truth somewhere in this, but all these odd add-ons take away from the argument. The willingness to believe anything at all negative about Obama seems a lot like the Bush hatred. I think Obama has enough negatives without reaching for the “might-be’s”!
Why don’t you admitt you voted for The One. You also said goodnight awhile ago and that proved false.
So unless I agree with you that he is ineligible to be president because he was born outside the us or is forging his birth certificate, I am pro-Obama? What kind of logic is that?
I can’t be against him ideologically without believing what you believe?
Why in the world do you think I supported Obama?!
You don’t deny you voted for him though.
“He is human, after all, and subject to the same failings as all of us”
Keep your self-righteous BS to yourself, lady. You don’t know me, so don’t speak in my behalf.
So?
When you try to run for POTUS, we'll worry about looking for the long form.
I want to see 0's copy from 1961. As others here have mentioned, FactCheck is a compromised source, and thus unreliable. There is reason to believe he was not born in Hawaii, and his now-confirmed nasty little habit of lying about his past removes any reason to give him the benefit of the doubt.
Note that up the top of this page she claims (although she admits she’s read very few threads about this) that the birth announcement in the newspaper used his mother’s parents address.
This is totally false as noted afterwards by Chief Engineer who vetted the addresses.
She has not admitted her false statement, just exited the thread.
