The California secretary of state should refuse to allow the state's 55 Electoral College votes to be cast in the 2008 presidential election until President-elect Barack Obama verifies his eligibility to hold the office, alleges a California court petition filed on behalf of former presidential candidate Alan Keyes and others.
The legal action today is just the latest is a series of challenges, some of which have gone as high as the U.S. Supreme Court, over the issue of Obama's status as a "natural-born citizen," a requirement set by the U.S. Constitution.
WND senior reporter Jerome Corsi even traveled to Kenya and Hawaii prior to the election to investigate issues surrounding Obama's birth. But his research and discoveries only raised more questions.
The biggest question is why Obama, if a Hawaii birth certificate exists, simply hasn't ordered it made available to settle the rumors.

The reason Obama has not shown the sealed long form birth certificate is because he has been able to get away with not showing it. If there is massive demand to see it that may change.
Where does it say that Barack Hussein Sr wanted his race designated as African? It says nothing about who wanted his race designated as African.

That is exactly right. We are certainly not asking for much, just Obama’s original birth certificate. McCain's was plastered all over the news back during the primary. And with all the suits brought forward Obama has done nothing but fight to keep his documents out of public view. I will continue to closely follow the two cases before the Supreme Court and now the Keyes case in the California SC.
I do not know the latest on the Berg case. Last I heard was that Obama was given until December 1st to respond. I thought at first he had to provide his birth certificate by that date, but that is not the case. I was told he has to “respond” which means he can just file another motion for the case to be dismissed.
The Donafrio case is going before Justice Thomas and other Justices on the SC this coming week. I will look forward to hearing the opinion given by Justice Thomas. I just want to know the truth one way or the other.
My cousins husband had a VERY high clearance job with DC dealing with satellites. He didn't stay in the same hotel room two nights in a row, could not be directly contacted by any family member and couldn't even drive the same rental car to and from where he worked. Even that was changed daily. He was only given information on a need to know and then he said he had to justify the need. We still don't know what the project was all about.

Wow. Interesting. So “African” would not be a strange designation, and stating that Obama Jr was born in HI even if he was not, would be a regular or acceptable practice then.

It was the head of the Dept of Vital Statistics of Hawaii who ordered it sealed, after she and one of her co-workers verified there was a record on file. She did NOT verify that Jr was born in Hawaii, simply that there was a record for him on file. Although I think there is something rotten in the state of Hawaii as far as the birth of Jr I really don’t like seeing people state something which isn’t true, and for the Gov Lingle rumor the blame can be placed directly at the feet of World Net Daily. As you may know I have followed this topic since July and performed research of my own which included watching the memorial for Madelyn Dunham when it was broadcast last night. What I found curious as the ceremony ended was the statement by the Mistress of Ceremonies that, “Madelyn took her responsibilites seriously, including raising these two native children of these islands.” Rather curious statement to make considering we know that Maya was born in Jakarta, Indonesia!

What is your real purpose in making these kinds of statements?
Thanks so much! I am right handed so shattering the upper arm was a real blow which I now laughingly say means I took one for the team, unfortunately the arm is not healing as I would like it to. Without the shattered arm I would not have done as much research as I have! What I have found out raises many more questions than I have found answers for! If this case was presented as a book for publication, publishers would say it was too surreal to be anything but fiction, but then again Jr’s book was published as non fiction and we all know otherwise now.
Alan Keyes is no slouch:
Keyes campaigned for the Republican nomination in 2000.
He finished 3rd in Iowa, with 14 percent.
He debated John McCain and George W. Bush; “Polls on many television stations went as far as declaring Keyes the “clear winner” of the debates.”
In Utah, Keyes received 20 percent of the vote.
Running for President would give him standing.
Being joined by a person from California, who has the largest number of electorates and a more liberal “standing” criteria is no accident.
Keyes knew he had to have all this in place to do what is right to save the Constitution, which he loves.
