President-elect Barack Obama’s transition team is showing its hostility toward lawful firearm owners by “weeding out” job applicants who own firearms themselves, a Second Amendment group says.

Plugs has an expensive Beretta shotgun, not a pistol. ...and certainly, no CCW.
He has the kind of $10k+ shotgun that is still legal for the wealthy and connected in places with complete gun bans like Great Britain.

What about Hillary she once owned a gun. Funny she cant seem to find it now.
Vincent Foster was found with a .38 revolver made by Colt Arms. It was built from parts taken from two other guns, and as a result had two serial numbers. The Frame number was 355055, and according to the records of the Colt Arms Company , the gun was manufactured with a standard dark blue, almost black, finish.

Does this include his secret service protection? That's the first thing I thought of.
If he really believes what he says about guns, he ought to put his money where his mouth is and require that all his security is unarmed.
