I read the article. It failed to convince me that Obama’s team met with Hamas. Naturally, the concern that Obama and Hamas are “close” was raised, but that has been a well founded concern for several months.

It was a rather vague article, but then it’s not a deep investigative news site.
You might want to looks at my posts 4 and 5.
The meetings that have taken place with Hamas with the advisers were probably to let Hamas know that the statements about to be made by the President Elect should not be taken seriously by Hamas and it's allies.
And that they should have patience because Mr. Obama's statements are only geared toward the American public and are not the true feelings of next president.
He has done this in the past on a few occasions and it is beginning to look like a trend with this guy.
