My DH is trying to talk me into putting 10grand into
GM Stocks now. He thinks that it will go and and we’ll
make some money and sell in a couple years. I think this
would be a stupid idea, but I don’t know how to tell him.

Another thought on 2010. We need to target every single Blue Dog Dem that goes along with any of these socialism bills and other ‘values’ bills. Keep track of everything they do in the next 2 years. They might be very vulnerable if they join the Pelosi Communist Palooza.

Having been previously employed in that industry, I'm getting that question all the time, should I buy Ford and GM right now? My answer is, don't gamble any amount of money you can't afford to lose.

Well...if we need to march and can get it off the ground in a big way...I will beg, borrow or steal to get the money to be there if I have to!! I am really getting scared for our country. We are going to go from a recession into a full blown depression by spring if the insanity continues.

Why haven’t they cut capital gains across the board or the mark to market rules. Those two things alone would do more in a week to beef up the markets than anything they have done so far. The democrats apparently don’t care to truly help this country. They are blinded by their ideology.

Color me puzzled.

We already gave them 25 Billion. They want another 25 Billion making it 50 Billion and Barney wants a piece (sorry pun intended) for colateral but the market cap of Ford and GM is only 6 Billion combined. Must be that new gubment math.
