Today is the publication date of the new edition of his book Fugitive Days, and now that the election is over, Ayers has chosen to speak out in his own defense in the pages of a democratic socialist newsweekly, In These Times.
By choosing this vehicle, Ayers is skillfully engaging in his own sanitized rewriting of history. His effort is to paint himself as just another honest dissenter, a man whose valiant socialist principles have caused the media to unfairly demonize him as a terrorist. All he did in his memoir, he writes, is to go back to those exhilarating and difficult years of resistance against the American war in Vietnam....

Can you imagine how the media would treat the rewriting of history if an abortion clinic bomber would try this type of thing? What a joke.
If I were an unbeliever, I would have a lot of very harsh things to say about this murdering, thieving, hate-mongering terrorist.
However, in keeping with the Sermon on the Mount, I can only say, may God have mercy on his lost soul and deliver him from the insane delusion he pursues.
That ‘man’ needs to walk through a dark alley on a late Saturday night.....ALONE.

At the risk of sounding mean-spirited, the sooner this happens, the better.
One hopes he is mugged in the streets, the recipient of what he would probably call “People’s Justice.”

The only positive of this whole campaign is this piece of garbage , might get a taste of his own medicine. He is not so anonymous anymore, he’s been seen, heard, found out...back to the sewers with the other rats ayers...
