It's now been over nine full days since Madelyn Payne Dunham--Barack Obama's thrown-under-the-bus "typical White" grandmother who raised him--died.
Yet, still no funeral. That's a pretty odd--not to mention, disrespectful--way to treat a grandmother you claim you love and who raised you, regardless of whether you are President-elect of the United States or just an average citizen. Regardless of whether you told the world she was a "typical White" racist.
It was understandable when Dunham first passed away at about 11:00 p.m. on November 2nd that Obama didn't rush back for a service and burial for his grandmother. He was in the closing days of a Presidential election campaign.

Cmon now. They had a taxidermied James Brown on display for months.
Maybe she isn’t.
I’m sure they counted her vote. So he’s through with her.
There was a statement made earlier, that he won’t have any time for this until sometime in December.
I was first willing to give Obama the benefit of the doubt but now...I don’t know. It is troubling that he hasn’t made it a priority to give his grandmother (who helped raise him while his mother was away) a proper burial. It seems cold and heartless.
Honestly, couldn’t he and his sister schedule a small family service, fly to Hawaii, have the service, and be back to the mainland the next day to further bask in the glow of his election?
Must be a “generation thing”. /s
I’m skeptical as to whether she existed at all at this point.
Maybe he will wait until he can take Air Force One to Hawaii.
But, but, The Zero told us he could multi-task when McCain said he would shut down his campaign for the bailout meetings.
Well unless all her children are dead, you wouldn’t expect a grandchild to arrange the funeral services. Was her daughter (Barack’s mom) the only child she had?
Too busy, plotting and scheming against America to be bothered with the white half of his family.
It’s been so long that the Mormons have already baptised her.
She can ride in the inaugeration parade, Aunt Edna style.
yes, it would seem they could do this. However, I agree with you: he is heartless. And, he will have no feeling except power when he commits the Marxist acts he has long dreamed of when he assumes office in January.
God rest his grandmother’s soul; God have mercy on all of us.
Must be....
Whatever it is, I think it’s wrong.
Has anyone noticed that in both of those pictures, the grandparent has their arm around him, but he doesn’t around them?
Just curious.
And that woman looked pretty aged 25 years ago...
But seriously, when was the last photo of her taken? Taken with him?
Maybe he didn’t want to share them.
I find it very very coincedental that she died the day before the election. (Hawaii time put it on November 3)
I’m just saying...
Don’t know how relevant this is, but a funeral director told me black people are very slow about having funerals. He’s had to keep several bodies in storage for weeks until the families got around to the funeral.
That’s what I think too.
