Obama's welcome assault on the NRA and gun lovers (Mindset of the left!)

Gun lovers across America are concerned that Barack Obama's administration will take on the National Rifle Association and impose stiffer gun laws. Let's hope so.
Shop owners are reporting an upsurge in sale since Obama's election last Tuesday. Why?
Because many people fear that Obama and a Democratic-controlled Congress will try to stop them from buying assault rifles -- as if there's any reason in the world for a citizen to own such a thing.
And some Americans are worried that Congress will take away their rights to own three, four or more guns -- as if any American family truly needs that much firepower in their home.

The fact that Congress and Obamanation are perfectly willing to clamp down on a Constitutionally-protected right that was very clearly upheld in Heller is the very reason why Americans NEED to purchase them.
Again, not that we have to prove a need.

“Congress will try to stop them from buying assault rifles — as if there’s any reason in the world for a citizen to own such a thing.”
Well, witless, when liberals take to expanding the definition of “assault weapon” to include anything that fires a round of ammunition, there is good reason to object!

The NRA and GOA should promote a program where we gun owners help non-owners get armed. By help, I mostly mean education about gun laws, but some creative financial assistance wouldn't be a bad thing. Something like a rebate from manufacturers for first year NRA/GOA members. Just imagine, if we each created one new gun owner, we would double the number of gun owners.

"-- as if any American family truly needs that much firepower in their home."
Personally, I was thinking more along the lines of a crew-served weapon.

It is an Arabic name as well. “Abouhallka” is an Arabic name for sure which stands for “father of the ring”.

Well, I have several reasons for wanting to "own such a thing":
1) Obama
2) People of his party
3) Tools like the author of that piece

I find it extremely amusing that a guy named Yael T. Abouhalkah can tell me what weapons I can and cannot have.

I don’t believe that the constitution ever questions whether “I need” firepower just that it was my right to have it.

I would have agreed with this statement until November 4.

Ironically, this is one of the reasons that I’ve heard from gun controllers - “I wouldn’t trust ME with a gun, so I don’t want ANYONE to have one.”

The Branch Davidians had a virtual arsenal at their disposal. But that didn’t stop Reno’s jack-booted thugs from killing everyone inside, and ergo from “taking their lives AND their weapons”.
I wouldn’t be stating that challenge too loudly these days. I have a feeling the “”new version”” of the Clintonistas will make the olde regime look like Santa Claus by comparison.
