Now Bishop Robinson intends to make the Catholic Church his new mission field for his crusade.In a report first confirmed by the Associated Press and confirmed in numerous Press and Media venues, Bishop Robinson has acknowledged that he led a “confidential retreat” of 75 Roman Catholic Priests in 2005 at which he encouraged their open dissent from the teaching of the Church and their overt disobedience to their vowed celibacy. His intention now seems to be to take his self styled libertine revolution into the Catholic Church.

This is so wrong. A person who claims to be a follower of Jesus Christ lives openly in sin. Those on the outside will say why be a Christian?
I have posted before why I do not believe Bishop Robinson has given a truthful account about any retreat. The main reason being the man’s ego is way too big to keep any event that would have attracted press cameras quiet. The man is a media whore extraordinaire.

On further reflection, the burning of heritics might not be a bad idea in some circumstances.
Gene Robinson, in my opinion, is a really good man.

The sad thing is that he and the rest of TEC have not really fractured much of the world-wide Anglican Communion (wwAC), he's just caused a bunch of re-alignments. But as FReeper Kolokotronis and others have pointedly remarked it doesn't matter where in the wwAC you are connected, if you are in the wwAC you're still in communion with heretics.
