Doing so was called “racist.” Mark Levin circumvented the prohibition by giving him a middle name that had gone uncensored in the past, that is the middle name of Richard Nixon; Levin calls him “Barack Millhouse Obama.”

We are not far from a world Ira Levin wrote about in the 1970 novel, This Perfect Day. In that story, you were allowed to curse, but the word fight was blasphemous. It's worth reading and it's relevant to today's PC mentality. This passage is from the book. It is a chant children recite in the book as part of The Clapping Game.
