The co-chair of Barack Obama's Transition Team, Valerie Jarrett, appeared on Meet the Press this weekend. She told Tom Brokaw that Obama will be ready to "rule" on day one. It's a word that reflects the worst fears that people have for Obama the "arrogant," the "messiah," that imagines he's here to "rule" instead of govern.
Jarret told Brokaw that "given the daunting challenges that we face, it's important that president elect Obama is prepared to really take power and begin to rule day one."

“Rule” — kinda says it all, doesn’t it.
Seems to be a new tactic by the Left: stroke of the pen or rule by judicial fiat and immediately put the rule into effect so even if it is found to be unconstitutional or otherwise illegal, it will be too late: the horse has already escaped from the barn. This was the tactic on gay marriage in California. Once the ruling came down, the judges refused to stay the rule while the constitution amendment was pending so now the gays argue that 20,000 marriages have been invalidated and, as one blogger put it, their kids made bastards.
So Obama will make controversial executive orders that will open the floodgates for acts (such as open gays in the military, unrestricted, government-financed worldwide abortions, global poverty tax) that may well nigh be impossible to restrain, especially given our current activist Supreme Court which is in love with public opinion and worldwide “standards”. It is executive orders making Liberal Land a fait accompli, all within the next two years so the administration can move to the center before the next presidential election.
Thas okay. You'll just have to sette for Obama being your King. Bow before King Obama. Long live the King! *shudder*
