Whoops. It's turning into quite the morning for gaffes on the NBC/MSNBC family of networks. As noted here, on Today, Meredith Vieira stumbled into the sensitive area of Matt Lauer's marital history. Then, during Morning Joe's 8 AM hour, Joe Scarborough accidentally used an F-bomb, leading to an extended apolog-a-thon. [H/t reader P.C.]
View video here [warning: contains unexpurgated F-bomb 20 seconds in].
During a break, Time's Jay Carney had apparently told a story of some politico who had used the F-word. Back on the air, Scarborough had actually been praising the discipline of the Obama team. He described them as people who, in contrast with the person Carney had mentioned, were careful with their words and deeds.

Joe’s accidental F-bomb ping to Today show list.
Why should he apologize? Nobody was watching.................
.
Thanks for the laugh..you are right!
Years ago that would have gotten him a 10 thousand dollar fine and a year or two in jail.
At least he didn’t make the same mistake Sheppard Smith made while talking about J Lo.
Dont worry Joe nobody listens.
It’s MSNBC. What’s the problem?
Nothing new...another propaganda wing of the DUmocrat party just appealing to their viewers.
can’t stand smith, I wish Fox would get rid of him and Geraldo
why did smith say about J Lo then???
I never watch the dramatic drama queen anymore and haven’t for some time
soon as he comes on I turn off and then back on for cavuto
You might remember.... Obama won this election, with the help of NBC, ABC, CBS, CNN, MSNBC!!
So people do watch those channels.
Can they get away from it because it’s cable? (Some are saying cable can get away with more—and yeah, like any
fairness doctrine imposed would include them!)
Mike Barnicle...ewww....
oops: should read can they get away WITH it because it’s cable!
My morning viewing has been altered to include 10 minutes of the local news station to get the weather guess, then back to Mike&Mike on ESPN2.
I can’t possibly watch MSNBC right now. I’m that upset over what my country has done, electing a communist. MSNBC is just too happy about the whole darn thing.
I tried Fox & friends for about 30 seconds this morning... Steve had left the set, and they had some cheesy “mini Steve” projected on the couch! Are you kidding me?! I thought I was watching Capt. Kangaroo! Fox is on the high speed rail to uselessness.
A glimpse into the inner, clubby circle at Morning Joe.
Vengeance is mine, sayeth Joe’s wife...
By that, he means the liberal press . . and himself.
