Despite some news reports suggesting otherwise, a new poll shows that Sarah Palin was a definite asset to John McCain in his run for the White House.

According to a Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey, 69 percent of Republican voters say the Alaska governor helped McCain’s bid for the presidency. Twenty percent of GOP voters said she hurt the ticket, six percent said she had no effect, and 5 percent were undecided.

Other results of the poll:

91 percent of Republicans have a favorable view of Palin.

65 percent of Republicans have a very favorable view of Palin.

8 percent of Republicans have an unfavorable view of Palin.

3 percent of Republicans have a very unfavorable view of Palin.

64 percent of Republicans say Palin is their top choice for the GOP 2012 presidential nominee.

12 percent of Republicans say Mike Huckabee is their top choice for the GOP 2012 presidential nominee.

11 percent of Republicans say Mitt Romney is their top choice for the GOP 2012 presidential nominee.

IMO the reason Obama won this election is because most of the world including the USA has abandoned there faith and commandments of a Loving Just HOLY GOD.

We have been fighting the ACLU who has been trying to destroying every Judeo/Christian value we have had in this country since it started..
The War on the Christmas Holiday the war on the Boy Scouts of America, the immorality we see in the rise of Homosexuality, etc...

The Bible says this world will end and IMHO it is to late for a Sarah Palin or any conservative...The Bible says the Antichrist will come to power and lead the world astray...
and the only one who will come to our rescue is our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

The Bible also speaks of con men taking advantage of silly women. Single women went for Sugar Daddy Obama with 70% of their vote. Without them in the picture, McCain/Palin would have won.

and mccain’s staffers were ridiculing her.

I am disgusted of the outcome of the election. I cannot figure out what has happened to our nation.

Well I just see what has destroyed America as being the immorality the abortion crisis and the destruction of the American Family....Those 3 things is what has destroyed Pagan Socities since the world began..

We have seen this rapid decline in our American Values for many many years....It has been beyond any President or Government entity to tackle....

McCain won’t run in 2012, and if he did, he’d get trounced by Saracuda. Put him out to pasture, he’s done..

I cannot figure out what has happened to our nation.

1. SIN
2. Abandoning faith in GOD
3. Looking to Man instead of GOD
4. Immorality
5. Abortion
6. The Laodicean Church

That is what happened to our great country...

“The fool thinks he can win in 2012.”

If that’s the case, then he really is senile.

If McCain had picked anyone other than Palin, he would have lost even worse. She was drawing the crowds, not him. Face it, McCain ran a terrible campaign, but I don’t know if any Republican could have won this year.

The way that the MSM slimed Palin and her family is disgraceful...but effective. Quite a few of my acquaintances (far too many) were willing to believe that Palin was a hyper-religious bimbo way out of her league. With the experience of this campaign under her belt, and 4 years to sharpen her skills, she can change a lot of minds in 2012.

No Mark Sanford or Bobby Jindal in this poll? Jindal will probably do well in such polls.

People of Faith in this country I think rallied much more for passing Prop *8 protecting Traditional Marraige than they were in rallying for the Mc/Cain/Palin ticket...

Most of the Christians I know do not trust any politicians and really were not concerned with the election...

They were much more concerned about Prop*8

The left and the establishment right (remember, they too feed at the Government trough) are terrified of Sarah Palin because they know she’d break the china in the china closet. I had doubts that McCain would really be a reformer, but there is no question in my mind that Sarah would be a reformer.

I found it very interesting that California went overwhelmingly for Obama, yet Prop 8 passed with a solid majority. Blacks voted 70-30 for prop 8, Latinos about 60-40. yet, the gays are protesting against the church. Weird times.

“Go Sarah! And she is taken some of the limelight away from 0.”

Yeah, you know that’s the funny thing about all of this. Whether the press is praising her or trashing her, even AFTER the election she continues to suck oxygen away from Obama. If Obama is the anti-Reagan, Sarah is the anti-Obama.

There really are some strange things going on now.

Thank God for Sarah, and thank goodness for little Piper who just makes me laugh everyone time I see her.

I went to the Prayer Vigil they had at Qualcomm Stadium praying for Prop 8 to pass, I can tell you this issue crossed all culture and racial divides, there were many many whites, hispanics, asians, blacks as well as Christians all denominations, Jews and Muslims, you could say this was one issue that people were striving for unity PSALM 133....

Unforunatley this does not transend to a Presidential Election...

I met a young lady, meter maid, here in Boston. She was very excited about Sarah. Her first choice had been Hillary but she marveled about Sarah being “ one of us. Just a regular working person “. I think there is a lot of that out there.
This young lady was black and no fan of Obama.

I hate to break up the love feast, but can she in the pale compare with what Duncan Hunter could have brought to this party given full support of the majority?
Think carefully before responding.
