Well, since a black man running for president resulted in only 5% more blacks voting democrat than would ordinarily be the case, you can't disregard the overwhelming tendency of blacks to vote democratic? Remember that Lynn Swann only got 13% of the black vote in Pennsylvania when he ran for governor? Ken Blackwell only got 20% of the black vote when he ran for governor of Ohio. Steele received only 23% when running for the U.S. Senate.

I doubt white guilt will simply die out. That has been drummed into our heads since first grade. It will continue to be reinforced by the left wing media.(i.e everybody but Fox and talk radio)"Civil Rights" leaders will continue to play the race card because there is too much money to be made hating whitey. Liberal and moderates will be emasculated whenever they utter a peep of dissension. Conservatives will be shouted down or face ever tougher hate speech laws.

White guilt will continue to be used as an explanation as long as there are any areas where black people are behind white people--earnings, savings, house values, life expectancy, percentage of college graduates, etc. Why aren't there 13 black US Senators? The only possible explanation is racism!

The race card is too useful to be given up just because one person of African descent, not even a descendant of American slaves, is elected President. So far there have been 42* white men who served as President (36 individuals actually elected to the office)--until there have been 42 black Presidents I don't think "white guilt" will vanish.

So far there have been 46 Vice Presidents, of which 45 were white and one was part white and part Indian (Charles Curtis)...none were African American.

*Bush is actually the 42nd President, because the 22nd and 24th Presidents not only had the same name and same date of birth, but were actually the same person. So that village in Turkey where the villagers sacrificed 44 sheep to celebrate Obama's victory blundered--43 would have been enough.

Sometimes you need to get slapped to your senses. It's the only way people learn. Then again, sometimes that doesn't work either.

The problem is that our fellow passengers on this lifeboat have been drilling holes in the hull letting the water in. We can't plug the holes fast enough anymore.

I’m not into sports at all, I hadn’t a clue that the NFL was all black, I thought that was basketball. Being south american my sport of preference is association football. And the best players have been both black and white. Pele and Maradona come to mind. I don’t watch those games either. To me sports is like sex, why bother watching other people doing it? That to me is boring. Being in the middle of the action is better.

But remember when Hillary ran against Obama in the North Carolina primary with virtually the same agenda, Obama still got over ninety percent of the Black vote.

Not gonna happen, this country will be majority hispanic in twenty years and no anglo , black or white will ever again be elected president after that. Blacks through abortion and attrition will become a insignificant minority due to demographics. They peaked at 13% and are now 11% of the population. In twenty years they will be perhaps 6 or 5% of the population and on a fast decline. They can thank Obama's upcoming amnesty for that.

White anglos should not celebrate either. they will be less than 50% of the population in maybe 15 years and perhaps 25% by the end of the century. You'd all better learn spanish real fast. Demographics wins the day. The womb is the real weapon of mass destruction. At least Latinos are not madly in love with abortion as birth control.

Here's a ready response. If B.O. can become president, there is no need for Affirmative Action or any other set-asides. All African Americans are now on their own. B.O. proved that you can make it if you try. The playing field is now declared even.

Actually, Sharpton and Jackson have brainwashed the black community into believing that the Democrats are the best party for *blacks*. That’s the key. It has very little to do with actual issues and everything to do with racial identity politics.
