The bottom line is that the classes of victims were treated quite differently, and the Jews suffered by far the most of any of these groups, particularly in terms of lack of food rations - leading to mass starvation and lethal disease - and severity of physical beatings. Thus there was a much higher death rate among Jewish prisoners in Nazi camps than among other prisoners.

The first group sent to camps were the political dissidents. The first camp was Dachau in Germany, well before the onset of WWII. The most deaths occurred in camps in Nazi occupied Poland, and of those, Auschwitz accounted for by far the most - about 1,500,000.

On January 20, 1942, Nazi officials met in the resort of Wannsee east of Berlin where they devised the Final Solution, and this has traditionally been taken by historians as the beginning of the Nazis' extermination campaign.

It began LONG before 1942, in the early '30s, with the systematic extermination of the insane (including many thousands of post-tramatic-stress-syndrome WWI veterans...), the retarded, the terminally ill, and of course in abortion of "undesireables"...

This is why people like myself and many fellow FReepers find the far left pro-death regime coming into power so frightening.

Along with the confiscation of businesses and wealth of some prominent Jews.

But, ironically having Jews in ownership positions was convenient for hiding business assets. One way of accomplishing that was purchasing Jewish identities from wealthy, accomplished Jews that were eliminated early on by the Reich.

Back in the 30s. Many of those identities were also sold to spies and strategically placed globally too.

I didn’t accuse anyone. I simply said that they might be forged. I am at a loss to see where I implied that, if this was the case, the culprit had to be Jewish.
