Being pregnant is not an issue to Obama or his fans. They would just consider it a form of abortion. These people have NO moral compass.

The Israelis have had women subject to the draft and have had them serve in combat for a long time now. How is it working out for them?

Better check your facts. Although women are drafted into the Israeli military, they have not served in combat positions since 1950.

On March 29, 1975, President Gerald Ford signed Proclamation 4360, Terminating Registration Procedures Under Military Selective Service Act, eliminating the registration requirement for all 18-25 year old male citizens.

Then on July 2, 1980, President Jimmy Carter signed Proclamation 4771, Registration Under the Military Selective Service Act, retroactively re-establishing the Selective Service registration requirement for all 18-26 year old male citizens born on or after January 1, 1960.

Sorry about that. Wikipedia confirms what you're saying although the article states that women served up until 1956.

See, unlike our president-elect, I apologize in public for my mouth-footing. :)

Women in combat are safer than anyone in Chicago based on the number of murders in Chicago this year.

Perhaps the best indicator of intent can be found on the Selective Service web site. The on-line registration form

https://www.sss.gov/RegVer/wfRegistration.aspx

The first question clearly asks the gender of the applicant. If there were no intention of including women in the draft why would this question be asked?

No problem. Just wanted to clear up a common misconception. Unfortunately, all of us have some. We're human, after all.

Non-Citizens are rquired to register.

From the SSS web site:

“ATTENTION, UNDOCUMENTED MALES
& IMMIGRANT SERVICING GROUPS!

If you are a man ages 18 through 25 and living in the U.S., then you must register with Selective Service. It’s the law. You can register at any U.S. Post Office and do not need a social security number. When you do obtain a social security number, let Selective Service know. Provide a copy of your new social security number card; being sure to include your complete name, date of birth, Selective Service registration number, and current mailing address; and mail to the Selective Service System, P.O. Box 94636, Palatine, IL 60094-4636.

Be sure to register before your 26th birthday. After that, it’s too late!

Selective Service does not collect any information which would indicate whether or not you are undocumented. You want to protect yourself for future U.S. citizenship and other government benefits and programs by registering with Selective Service. Do it today.”

While I agree that females can possibly fulfill some combat roles, imagine a nuclear submarine on a months long cruise with female and openly gay crew members. Commons sense is needed not some idealistic quotas.

No surprise here...

Muslim terrorists love to use women as shields.

Of course Barry wants women to serve in the Combat Arms.

He remembers the bedtime stories told to him by COMMIE, Frank Marshall Davis, of the brave female combat 'soldiers' of the Soviet Army during 'The Great Patriotic War' (gag me).

During the Battle of Stalingrad these glorious women Snipers were a key to the victory over the Wehrmacht.

However I doubt that Davis mentioned to Barry the tiny fact that MOST were ultimately KILLED in action. Not to mention the *inconvenience* of being gang raped by their fellow male 'comrades'.

Only a Communist would posit the possibility of our women being in Combat, its GD un-American. 'WE" protect our women, we don't send them into a friggen firefight.

In other words, he wants to eliminate gender discrimination from the armed services.

What BS this is. It is not "gender discrimination" to keep women out of combat. They do not have "equal opportunity" to survive there.

Any society that doesn’t live by the motto: “Women and Children First” is doomed.

“Exactly. And you can bet Obama would use that reason; if he was asked to register.”

Well, he probably used it for scholarship apps for his undergraduate education...which is probably why his undergraduate records are under seal. Just speculating, of course.

Open homosexuals in the military - among his first five executive orders.

So if that’s the case, where are they going to house them? And if its OK for open homosexuality in the military then why would it not be equally ok for mens to use women’s showers and dorms?

And does anyone really want to see their company commander or first sergeant show up to a military ball in a dress with his “husband” or boyfriend?

Simply one more front the Left is attacking on in their slow, steady advance on the nation.

This is their primary front of attack to legalize “gay marriage” in all 50 states enforced by federal mandate.

I’ve always thought a battalion of women on the same cycle would be a formidable and terrifying force to be reckoned with. Muzzies would be especially aghast!

Could someone direct me to that photo of the military women, in skirts on parade? They were from a nation near Russia, I believe.

Thanks.
