Oh how I will miss articles like this one after Obama shuts us down. If we are going to go down, I hope we don’t go quietly!I don’t know who I’m more angry at, Obams for telling lie after lie to get elected or the stupid voters that bought those lies.

The main reason for McCains defeat was that the word Republican became synonymous with failed policies, over spending, greed, and a general disregard for the people.
therefore we’ll vote for the Democrats who want to spend even more money.

A fundraising letter I got from the "R's" with Sarah's name signed ( no, I didn't save the damn thing, wish I had )- for whatever that is worth, claimed nearly a billion (!!!) dollars, much of it foreign, had been poured in to Duh1'a campaign.

I know we are all tired out here, BUT.....
FR should start to develop scores of Freepers to run for local council, school board, water board, sewage board, assemblyman, alderman, Congressman, various offices in 2010 and 2012. People who could NEVER imagine themselves running for office and serving, need to be called forth from FReeRepublic. Talk about citizen activism. We can cultivate many and support each other, contribute, volunteer, and take on Democrats in vulnerable seats nationwide. The pendulum, in my opinion, WILL BE FULLY SWUNG BACK ON BEHALF OF THE GOP BY 2010. How many Freepers out there are willing to get on their surfboards, suspend their personal careers, ask their families to make some sacrifices, and ride this TOTALLY AWESOME wave of conservatism from coast to coast that will be upon us in less than 24 months??!! By then, MILLIONS of Joe the Plumber's across the fruited plains will have received their federal tax bills...and they aint gonna like it....
This is the Perfect Storm in the making.
Obama is going to be extremely unpopular in about a year out time, and Democrats will be doing everything to not be tagged to him.

He won because he had one goal and one goal only and that was to win. That and the fact White America has allowed itself to be blinded by affirmative action to the point we do not even question the qualifications of a sudo-Black candidate for the highest office in the land.
Obama not only made history for being elected to be the first Black president, he also made history for being the first President elected under the Affirmative Action mandate.

I agree 100%.
But IMHO we need to poll FR readers and focus our efforts on select issues rather than everyone just write their elected officials about what bugs them.
We need to make our numbers count through solidarity.

There is a simple solution, add an amendment to the long line of others that requires ALL voters to pass a test before they "earn" the right to vote. A simple 10 question test. It would drop the number of qualified voters to 25% of current. (I can HOPE for CHANGE!)
First question: "How many states are in the USA." That one alone would knock out Obombus and 50% of those who voted this year.

I am of the sense the top GOP orchestrated a measured loss chiefly as payback because they lost their bid for amnesty. Two years ago, even a Republican majority got hammered by people intent to stalewart the Bush Administration to grant millions of lawbreakers citizenship and include them among the rolls of the impoverished so taxpayers could support them. With that loss still fresh in their memories, it appears Republicans who sided with American Patriots were denied ample GOP support in defeating their opponents or were supplied kamikaze advisors who tanked those bids for office.

It was almost amusing - I had to be in Concord, mASSachusetts yesterday. Everywhere you went - there were groups of senior citizens, I mean people in the 70’s and 80’s gushing over how B. Hussein O. was going to save them with free medical care. How intelligent and good looking and smart he was and how great he did in his press conference. These people are NUTS. None of them were poor or even middle-class, all very well off. They have no idea that their money will be targeted for ‘redistribution’ and they are unlikely to be considered eligible for expensive and scarce health services when the government starts allocating it.
