Electronic voting machines that a Michigan election official said last week incorrectly tabulated vote counts during pre-election tests in the state were used in Minnesota where the senate race between Republican incumbent Norm Coleman and Democratic challenger Al Franken is in dispute.

We use optical readers in our precinct and they work beautifully. The electronic machines seem to break down and can be compromised.
Get rid of them.

Minnesota votes wrestlers in for office as well.

Hugo Chavez, Inc. (Smartmatic) bought Sequoia Diebold! Those machines are total crap and can be “manipulated”.

Our voting system is broken. Even before you have the issue of fraud (which is huge), you have the issue that in a razor thin race where a couple hundred votes seperate the candidates you can’t trust the machines enough to be sure who really got the most votes. Its almost a joke. Blow up the system and start from scratch. And add in tons more fraud protections. Of course the congressional dems may move to get rid of any protections.

Will there be a recount similar to the one in Washington State where the sitting Governor had one recount which confirmed her loss, then Democrats forced a second recount, discovered a bundle of uncounted votes, and she's still sitting Governor.

As long as Minnesota election officials are going to check out the accuracy of the machines, how about checking out who did the voting? If they did the latter, I'm sure they will find more phony votes in Franken's favor than they could ever find machine tally errors in Coleman's favor.
The 'Rats have always been the party of fraud, lies, and deceit and it's time that we in the GOP talked up this problem again and again until action is taken to alleviate it and clean up the election process.

PJ-Comix has written dozens of hilarious DUmmie FUnnies over the years about this guy and his antics on Democratic Underground
He was responsible for the anti-Bush website, TruthOut.org. He said he had proof that Carl Rove was going to be indicted by Fitzgerald, thus proving to liberals that there is a God.Oh boy! Thanks for explaining who Leopold is. Though the story may well ring true, obviously he's just trying to rile us up so he can corner the Pepto Bismo market.

Observe the difference between Republicans and Democrats.
McCain graciously concedes to Obama despite widespread voter fraud which we all know had a significant impact on the number of votes for the Dems. (Whether it would have been enough to change the results we will never know.)
Franken whines and cries and complains and runs to the courts because he doesn't want to concede.
Indeed, the symbol for the Democrats should be a crying baby. . .although a jackass is rather appropriate as well.

Let’s face it: the Dems are stealing this one, too, because the Repubs are pansies who refuse to fight. They deserve to lose.

McCain and the RNC should have done a lot more complaining as the fraud was going on during the campaign, in very specific terms, citing chapter and verse, and even holding a press conference or two about it. Not that it would have caused too many illegal names to be removed from the voting lists, but it would have motivated a lot more people who simply abhor cheating to register and vote for him to counteract the fraud. It could have been a huge campaign issue, but McCain and the RNC undoubtedly sidestepped it for fear of the ubiquitous "r" word in retaliation.
Now the Republican minority in Congress has to take up the slack and submit and talk up bills (though they will not get passed now) that criminalize willful voting fraud, even on the part of state potentates (like the notorious Ohio S3ecretary of State) who aid and abet it.

Al Franken is a joke, not a SenatorIf it is a joke delivered by Al Franken, you can assured that it won't be funny. He is definitely the lamest comedian who ever lived. Compared to Franken, Tina Fey could be considered funny (even though the best she has ever gotten from me is a weak smile).

Life is good! I thought we’d have at least a week where no one would try to throw rocks at us and go, “nyah-nyah-nyah” but I guess I should have realized something: Now they are all saying, “Jeez...how do we make this work?”
