FReepers - let's get a list of congressional leaders in both houses who are RINO's only - those who pretend to be conservative...
We need to know who they are - so we can find conservative challengers to boot them out in the primaries...
Let's get a grassroots operation going to educate the public on what conservatism is - visit the Reagan Library, visit heritage.org, etc. I totally agree with Rush's comments over the last two days - conservativism is not dead - people will follow conservatism if they see it in action and not in name only.
>>>While I wholeheartedly, without question, believe in getting the true conservative elected in red states/districts and even Purplish states/districts, only RINOs can win in Blue states. Thats a fact.
This is true; but only because there are RINO campaign activists that work against us. The campaign workers are funded from national parent affiliates, collect monies nationally for their RINO candidate and use ACORN type organizations to vote in our primaries. It has nothing to do with ‘left leaning issues’. It is total fraud.
So, no, don’t give blue state RINOs a pass. If they remain successful in blue states, your state could turn blue next.
Same with Fred Thompson.
That's a very well-chosen example. Reagan was not a social issues revolutionary. He laid out the socon position clearly. When he was President, socons always, always had a friend at Justice or Education who would receive them warmly and issue a nice press release. They certainly weren't shunned or stigmatized.
But they also didn't get to make all the calls, and RR did not, by EO or proposed legislation, do anything to seriously attack the 70% of Americans who are not socons.
What I fear has happened is that Bush (really Karl Rove) got the socons to believe that, by supporting Bush, they could actually make progress towards important socon goals. This was, of course, false as long as there were strong anti-socon majorities that would come out and vote.
But the socons won't settle now for a friendly face, a la the Reagan administration. They want real action.
And they don't have the votes to get it.
AND they do have the votes to defeat any Republican who won't commit suicide by promising it.
It's a big problem.

OK, you're out. (I've never been in).
Here is a fact: An affirmative-action, unaccomplished communist was just elected President of the United States with 62 million votes.
Whether you are in the GOP or out of it, do you have a plan, or a strategy (that does not involve foreign actors and destructive acts) to convince some of those 62 million voters that they were wrong, and to bring 62 million+ votes to the polls in 2012 to elect a conservative?
Or are you a revolutionary?
Take a chill pill.
You were not referring to Jeb in your post #21,
>>>Fred Thompson wasnt a RINO, was he?
Thompson was a member of the Centrist Coalition.
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/2127722/posts?page=64#64
so who are not RINOs? (I’ve seen Hunter and Thompson, maybe Paul mentioned here...)
The primaries were counted in all states and the states that did ‘pick’ the candidate in the primaries were open to outside party voting. That doesn’t give an accurate percentage rating.
bttt
To separate Jeb from 43 is political silliness. Bush’s need to exit stage left.
Hunter’s support among Republican (REPUBLICAN!) primary voters: 2%
——————————————————————————————And why?? because he is not one of the dc/beltway approved republican rinos. mccain made a big mistake with sarah palin, cause when she got on stage and opened her mouth, the conservative base saw a real conservative standing next to the rino.the contrast was like night and day.the gop leadership (rino leadership)have set out to smear sarah because she is not one of them (rino)same goes for duncan he is not a rino
He is listed as a member in the 107th Centrist Coalition.
A High Five to you! Great work!
The primaries were counted in all states = The primaries were NOT counted in all states
You support candidates that come from TV Land? I don’t.
Great post BUMP!
but remember if someone's voting record is 70% in agreement with you or better, then they are not a rino.
