It's final. I've talked to some Freepers and we have decided to boycott CNN. You may ask why them and not MSNBC (which is more liberal) or someone else. Well, CNN is more standard and it seems like everyone in this nation takes this giant news outlet at face value. It's time we attack and attack now. Read on...
We have NO CABLE at all. I am close to disconnecting the TV altogether. Can’t stand to watch the network news. Only watch Survivor, Cops, Big Brother (and that one is close to losing me, too) and a few select shows on PBS - all in free over the air HD, by the way!
Hell, I started boycotted Fox News since Tuesday night.
I don’t miss it at all and I’m saving 700-800 dollars a year. I admit, I still watch a few things on an antenna TV.
I just don’t see how suddenly not watching a few channels would send a clear message to the drive by media.
For once I was way ahead of the curve. I’ve refused to watch any of the alphabet news media and the print press since FOX showed up. Even FOX is minimal (will miss Britt) since I found BLOGS.
Simply boycotting them is not enough... If you really want to hurt them start boycotting anyone that advertises on their channel & write letters to those companies telling them that you will not buy their products since they run advertising on CNN/ABC/CBS/MSNBC etc. If someone set up a list of companies advertising on these biased networks, and we wrote letters to the lot of them, it would surely start to bite.
Just my opinion.

We went off the cable when my oldest was one. she is ninteen now.
It is the best thing you can do for your family. You control what comes into your home.
Haven’t watched CNN since my son was in Desert Strom and they interviewed some soldiers telling exactly where they were located. Wasn’t my son but it could have been and they didn’t care.

CNN has been blocked on my remote for well over 10 years.
CNN’s New Golden Girl, Campbell Brown is so annoying. Watch her mouth and tongue when she talks. It looks like she went to some Speech Coach at Journalism School. And She is so biased. She is a female Obermann. She is imitating him.

I have cable and CNN is one of the channels I’ve been skipping since Clinton. In fact I rarely watch any of the lower numbered channels anymore: I call it “bottom feeding”
