Folks... When you email the board members, PLEASE be polite and professional. This is obviously key. DO NOT be offensive as it will only be counterproductive. In situations such as these, persistent - and overwhelming - tact gets more results that anger.

This youtube brought back to me the fire in the belly, the desire to wish to smack a wicked grown-up hard, and on behalf of that girl child. Yes, my children were treated to crap like this in CA schools, and I just didn't put up with it for one second. I was civil. But I did put the fear in some. And took my kids home to study with me. No child is safe in even some of the "finest" schools. That teacher needs to be expelled. Period. She emotionally abused that girl. She commited "violence" against that little girl, in the parlance of the left.

I wonder how much was the teacher's rant: racist, anti-military, anti-republican, anti-pretty female.

That teacher has one plug ugly soul. How many children has she "done" this way through the years.

My dad was stationed at Seymour Johnson Air Base in Goldsboro. The school system there got bucks for every military kid that was taught in the public school system. There is no reason the military should be paying for the children of their soldiers to sit and listen to this harpie expound her liberal mantra.

This woman needs to be fired, and fast. Get this to Rush, to Hannity (at Fox), to O’Reilly (he’s a blowhard but he hates abuse of children), and definitely to Levin. I imagine she never thought her crap that was for a Finnish documentary would wind up on YouTube.

The parents should yank their children out of her class PRONTO!

Dear Ladies and Gentlemen of the Buncombe County School Board:

Today I received a shocking video of a teacher in your school system who was bullying a student. Having been born and bred in Asheville, (I live in Charlotte now) I was horrified to see such treatment of a child. This makes the entire city look disgraceful that this woman still has a job. I urge you to watch the video and see for yourself. She brow beats the child for supporting John McCain and tells the child that McCain supports another 100 years in Iraq. The horrible part? THE CHILD’S FATHER IS IN IRAQ FIGHTING FOR COUNTRY. The teacher then asks the child if she wants her daddy to stay in Iraq for 100 years!

This is intimidation, humiliation, and bullying to say the least. This violates the policy for intimidation and bullying that is set forth by your school system. I implore you to look into this and at the very least, discipline this teacher and apologize to the child and her family. If she were my child, I would be hiring an attorney.

No matter what your politics, this treatment of our children can’t be tolerated. It makes me ashamed that the great city I grew up in has this teacher working in the school system. Please look into this matter and make some changes.

Made me sick to see that as a teacher! What is also unreal is her comments up against her actions towards the children in the classroom! Certainly she knew she was on video, right?
