We HAVE to keep USSC justices real safe and healthy for a few years. They and the American Rifleman are all that stands between this being a total rout of freedom and liberty IMO.

Here's what I did last night and this morning regarding this fight...urge EVERYONE YOU KNOW to do something similar.

The US Senate, and inparticular the GOP Senators there now stand in the breech...and we MUST convince them to stand.

MY LETTER TO MY US SENATORS

Great maps. Now, add 20 million newly-amnestied former illegals soon to be voting ‘rat for life......

We’re screwed. Demography is destiny.

It's hard to think much about the new map when we know HOW MUCH VOTER FRAUD TOOK PLACE.

Sarah Palin is the only reason McCain got the votes he got. McCain is still nothing else but a RINO...he can call himself a maverick all he wants....he a proven RINO.

Elvina, we lived for quite awhile in NM, lots of government lands (reservations), lots of welfare and the “gimmee” mentality is strong. Don’t know about CO, may be granola influence there. S. Texas along the border (Rio Grande Valley) has ALWAYS been liberal Hispanics, much welfare again. I was born and raised there speaking Spanish, I just didn’t join the Dem movement, had hard-working parents that taught me by example.

In the Rio Grande Valley, it was constant Dem mayors, sheriffs, county officials and still is. What I find hard to believe (looking at the county election map) are the blue counties in far W. Texas like Big Bend, you’re tellin’ me that those hard working ranchers and farmers went for B.O.? I think not, something’s weird about that for sure. That blue swatch above Big Bend must be Pecos and I can believe that, Pecos itself would cause the county to go blue. El Paso?, oh yeah, I can understand that!

Thanks, that helps me understand about New Mexico. I had pictured the state as being a lot more conservative and shall we say “redneck”! :) Only been through there once and stopped in Santa Fe, but I thought Santa Fe was an anomaly. The welfate mentality is also taking over here in Michigan. I would never have thought the rugged Upper Peninsula of Michigan would vote for an anti-gun, pro-abortion extremist; so that they could get some more government cheese and wait two years to get their teeth cleaned for free. So much for their former self-reliance.

Oh there are some good ol’ hard working rednecks like me there for sure. You’ll find them in the oil and gas business, primarily, forest industry, coal and maybe uranium but I lost track of that industry, friends have gone on to other things. Mining was a strong industry, good folks. And like a lot of folks, they vote Dem, thinking it’s the party of the “people”, yeah, okay.

I have a good friend (we grew up together) that was a NM representative for two terms, Republican. He proved that if you walked the walk, told the truth and got your point across, you could win the elections, did good. He said that his area was trending Leftward and so didn’t even run the third election phase, sold his business and moved out of state! I think it saved his sanity. I won’t say where that was so no one will be second guessing.

I meant to encourage you on that point. I had never been to Michigan but as an outdoorsman I always had an interest in the Upper Peninsula, wonderful wilds. Then we befriended some wonderful Michiganders, whose son served with our son in Iraq. Their son was killed in a freak accident and we traveled to the funeral. They lived in the SE portion of the state, rural area, small town America.

Beautiful state, we had LOTS in common, his redneck friends immediately turned into my redneck friends and I thought us Texans were hunters and fishermen!! There is a core of Michigander that makes me feel good that all is not lost push come to shove. They expanded our horizons, I'm proud to have them as friends.

Thanks for sharing your experiences. I keep coming back to Michigan due to family ties, even though we have become somewhat of the laughing stock of the nation. There are still quite a few good folks here.

Well, Burlington County (your neighbor to the SW/W) went for Obama. Damn Pineys! ;-)

Actually, its the idiots moving from Philly who have turned Burlington County blue.

I believe that my county (Mercer) actually went for Reagan in '84, one of only two times since FDR that it had gone GOP (the other time being 1972).

Warren (my county) was for McCain as was Sussex, Hunterdon, Morris, and I believe Cape May. All the others....well you know what happened.
