"Morning Joe" show on MSNBC had Joe Scarborough talking to Chris Mathews about "amateur hour"-the Rahm Emmanual decision to "think about" taking the chief of staff position offered by Obama. Joe felt this should have been worked out long ago and is not something to be offered and then "thought about" out in public. Chris Mathews was upset at the criticism saying Our Job (Journalists)Is To Make This Presidency Work.
Joe immediately went after Mathews but Mathews held his ground talking about how in the world we live in right now it is of the utmost importance that this government succeed. Even Mika and a reporter from Time magazine jumped on Mathews for the comment, talking about how the media's job was in Crokite's words to be "skeptical so the public would not be cynical."
Mathews still would not back down so Joe ended the segment by sarcastically saying it was "so nice" that the media didn't question the government in dangerous times like during the Iraq war, not questioning Rumsfelds actions and not second guessing Bush's motives.

....Chris is such a d*ck.
No he isn't. He'd probably like to be but he isn't smart enough. Hitler knew what he wanted to do, obozo doesn't. He spent the last two years promising everybody everything. obozo himself probably doesn't know what all he's on the hook for nor does he have an idea how to go about trying to deliver on any of these "promises".
Everybody pretty much had him pegged out of the gate.
Empty suit with somebody else pulling his strings.
BTW if he takes the job the to biggest pols in the nation will be the Obamessiah and Emmanuel. Interesting imagery.

I drove a 60-something year old black lady to the polls on Tuesday - she lives in Sec 8 housing and noone would give her a ride as she’s a Republican. She called HQS and they looked to see who lived closest to her and voted at the same Pct....I picked her up at 630 and one of the first things out of her mouth was that Obama reminded her of Hitler who was nothing but a robot being controlled by unknowns. Now that’s scary!
I had always wondered how the Germans elected Hitler. I think we have now seen how it was.
That was what the entire segment was about. Joe called it "amateur hour" and not a good sign from someone supposedly so organized and on top of things. Mathews was aghast that Obama was already facing criticism and talked about the importance of the media helping the new administration.
The ENEMedia is COMPRISED of all DIMS...so you hate the ENEMedia EQUAL to the DIMS by virtue of that fact...:-)
The media’s job for the last 8 years WAs to convince the American people that the economy and the nation was going to hell in a handbasket. Everyday for years the newspapers ran stories about how people were struggling and how the economy was in jeopardy. In the campaign year of 2000, when the economy was slowing it was deliberately covered up.
people are so easily manipulated.
we have to not watch that channel at all
we have to get this video of matthews to other outlets to report this to other media outlets and make matthews look even more stupid
we have to tell everyone about MSNBC and NBC , let your friend and family , work associates that those two channels are just a joke and never report the news any more
degrade them to everyone you know like the liberals have been doing for years about us and FOX even though FOX is getting up oabma’s arse lately
reduce them to rubble and make them a laughing stock to the country
This is how dictatorships begin.
Matthews is running for the Senate from Pennsylvania. A news network with integrity would drop him until he’s done campaigning.
Chris Matthews: Our Job (Journalists)Is To Make This Presidency Work
AYFKM?? After they did everything in their power to destroy the Bush presidency? It’s time to repeal freedom of the press since these days its just a tool for America hating Leftists.
My nomination for oxymoron of the decade.
thanks - I need every laugh I can get these days....this is going to be a loooooooong 4 years....thank goodness we Alabamans can hold our head high - we voted for the correct candidate (even if he wasn’t my first choice!)...now if we can just keep the #1 ranking when we play, and hopefully defeat, LSU Saturday there will be something to smile about!
The Tingler!! LOL, an admitted presstitute at last!
Sometimes journalists confuse the position they hold - with who they are. Nothing's sadder than seeing a journalist who was welcomed into the halls of power being stunned by chilliness the day after he retires or changes jobs. It was never "him" it was the power behind the position. Smart journalists know that - Matthews is an idiot.
No, Putin is Hitler. He announced today that he will become President of Russia again in violation of the Russian Constitution. If he follows Hitler’s playbook after that, he will unilaterally announce the changing of Russian law, suspend further elections because of a national emergency, and eliminate any checks and balances in the Russian democratic system. THAT sounds like Hitler from 1935.
Obama will appease him. Just like Kennedy appeared weak to Krushchev. And then, hang on to your hats, baby. Everyone wanted change like free health care and no more gasoline payments, and the primary matter facing our liberal, inexperienced President is national security.
No criticism. Fawning yes-men. This will pretty well ensure a smoking disaster. Good.
