Barack Obama made a promise.

Last year before the Planned Parenthood Action Fund, Barack Obama told pro-abortion activists:

The first thing I’d do as President is sign the Freedom of Choice Act.

With a single stroke of the pen, the Freedom of Choice Act (FOCA) would establish the right to abortion as a fundamental right (like the right to free speech) and wipe away every restriction on abortion nationwide.

Twenty Senators (including Sen. Barack Obama) and 109 U.S. Representatives have co-sponsored this "Freedom of Choice Act." The stated aim of this legislation is to "end the abortion wars."

To these legislators, "ending the abortion wars" means allowing abortion for any reason, at any time, without any restriction or any regulation. This would eradicate state and federal laws that the majority of Americans support.

FOCA would erase these laws and prevent states from enacting similar protective measures in the future.

I oppose the Freedom of Choice Act (FOCA), because:

--FOCA is a radical attempt to enshrine abortion-on-demand into American law;

--FOCA seeks to sweep aside existing, protective laws that I and the majority of Americans support;

--FOCA will prevent states from enacting protective measures in the future.

Doctors, pharmacists, and hospitals are REQUIRED to provide “services” or lose their licenses, regardless of religious or conscience objections.

YOU will be forced, through taxes, to pay for all abortions for those that “can’t afford” them.

Abortion alternative organizations will be defunded and heavily regulated (to what end? what other possible end could there be but to increase abortions?)

Alright y'all thanks. This is a start.

I'm hammering on a strategy right now that goes well beyond this petition and hearing back from people helps my spirit.

We need to pray that FOCA will never be law. It's the final demonic conclusion to Roe. But we have to be ready to work together to stop it. We stopped Amnesty last year, we can do this.

How long until God acts on this promise? All you pro-lifers out there, please pray for it.

Here in Colorado, people overwhelmingly voted down the measure to define life at the point of conception. I will pray every day for the above scripture to be actualized as the prophet Jonah called for repentance and there was none, metaphorically speaking.

I think the closest the media ever got to acknowledging 0bama's real stance on abortion was that some of them published the following cartoons:
