JERUSALEM – The Hamas terrorist group believes the election of Sen. Barack Obama is an "historic victory" for the world and an opportunity to change U.S. foreign policy toward engagement with America's foes, Ahmed Yousef, Hamas' chief political adviser in the Gaza Strip, told WND in an exclusive interview today.
Yousef, speaking by cell phone from Gaza, said Hamas is drafting a letter of congratulation to be sent tomorrow directly to Obama. He said the current draft of the letter praises the president-elect as "another John F. Kennedy, or great Roosevelt."
"We want to be one of the first to congratulate him," Yousef said.

Hamas can join Brit Hume, Sean Hannity, et. al. in using this new buzzword “historic”. As they say in Princess Bride “I do not think this word means what you think it means.”

Do you even listen to Hannity? when he says Historic he is talking about the battle between liberty and socialism, not race.

I listened to Hannity’s first hour today, then switched it off. He is entirely too concillatory for my taste. He congratulated Obama for a well-run campaign. That is like congratulating Hitler for efficiency. Guess you and I will have to agree to disagree.
The kowtowing towards the world’s thugs has begun.......
I am listening to the second hour and he is far less conciliatory.

I have young sons. I already told the oldest: Don’t join the military. Watch what Democrats do. Democrats will vote to send you to war, and then criticize that war and everything they sent you to do every step of the way. Thousands of troops will die, only for the next Democrat President to undermine all your efforts.
I heard what you are talking about but it was to make a point, we can congratulate but ... the but was the second hour. The radical associations, the unrepentant terrorist etc. Hes right back to being Sean now.
I have just been listening to Hannity’s third hour in the car on the way home, and I was just on the verge of switching it off also. He now opens each segment running an interminable clip featuring every known utterance by Obama using Hannity’s name, as if to wallow in his newly enhanced fame as that guy the now- President doesn’t like.
S. H.’s act is getting really stale.
