In 2004, Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry won 74% of the Jewish vote, and in 2000, Al Gore received 79%.

The MSNBC data found the numbers amongst Christians in Tuesday's election were far closer, with 45 percent of Protestants and other Christians and 54% of Catholics voting for Obama. Together, they made up 81%of the poll sample.

Exactly. They clearly don't give a sh*t. Why should we?

This Roman Catholic will continue to care and will not sit idly by while the Lord's biological family are sold down the river - even if they are cooperating in their own ruin.

I’m shocked at their numbers. Almost no shift from the last decade.

This Virginia Catholic will continue to support Israel as I have for the past 41 years, for the sake of the 22%. Even if there are only 10 righteous left, I will support Israel (if Abraham could bargain with the Lord for mercy even if only 10 righteous were left, that is good enough for me).

Well I think all the conservatives on FR who have complained about W and Condi's position on Israel are going to find out what having a truly anti-israel administration is going to do.

Also, don't forget that Jewish (by birth not religious) Americans were overly represented in the US communist party in the early 20th century, and many are actually red diaper babies.

You probably know the expression, “God is always dealing with a remnant.” Too many place their faith in man’s “wisdom,” liberalism, or some kind of utopianism, not the God of Israel and His Word. Only Noah’s family survived the Flood. Only Joshua and Caleb of the original exodus from Egypt went into the Promised Land. Only’s Lot’s family made it out of Sodom and Gomorrah. Etc.

so 54% of Catholics voted for Obama but 51% of white Catholics voted for McCain? Seems they counted a disproportionately high number of black Catholics. Still, should be no where near those percentages if Catholics took their faith seriously.

Well, 78% of Israeli’s voted for McCain/Palin.

And my dear friend, I suspect in your own community those figures pretty much matched the Israeli’s.

Jews who have no time for God are not Jews, they are Democrats.

In urban areas in particular, that is an overstated figure. Nevertheless the Jews who voted for tha Obamanation are kapos and should be regarded by the rtest of us as such.
