Forget about "I told you so's", or all other prognostications or writings previously expressed on this forum. What matters now is the fact that we have risen from our beds to this real and prolonged nightmare.

Looking closely at who and what Obama is, the only thing I can relate this to in regards to "reasons", is that Obama MAY be the ANTICHRIST.

Look at the similarities in this scenario to that of the Biblical description of the Anti-Christ. The stage seems to have been set and the World situation is prime for this to be set in motion.

I invite observations from other FReepers in what similarites they might see, in much the same way I do.

Any astute reasons for why I might be wrong wrong?

There’s no pre-trib rapture. Jesus suffered and died, John the Baptist lost his head, Stephens was stoned and beaten to death.

Actually, the people of “the prince to come” who did the destroying of the Temple in 70 were not Roman, but Assyrian conscripts into the Roman army, Legio X Fretensis especially. So the “Prince to Come” isn’t Italian, but Assyrian.

Well, during the long Clinton nightmare, Free Republic was mostly dedicated to Clinton Watch. It was a scandal a day. I suspect this one will be no different. Obama has so many ties to corruption and anti-America leftists that we’ll have no problem filling our pages daily with the ugly truth about the Obamessiah. And we’ll have to double and redouble our efforts to elect a Republican congress in 2010 so we can impeach him for his crimes. And I think the people will be behind us by then, as the veils will be lifted from their eyes and they will behold the Marxist false Messiah in all his ugliness.

I don’t want to engage in a debate on this but I have studied all eschatological views and there is no doubt in that the Bible clearly leads to a pre-trib view. I don’t know your particular denomination or approach to scripture but I can certainly direct you to very detailed Biblical studies on this if your interested.
