No, Obama will not be in full carter mode by 2010 or 2012 or 2016. He will be hailed by the MSM as the greatest leader of all time. If you think the MSM is going to report the truth about Obama the next 4 years, you are crazy. First, most of them love him and agree. The rest of the media is afraid to say anything negative for fear they will be shut down by Obama.

Folks, this is going to be at least 8 years under total democratic and socialistic control. It is going to be scary.

The Mayan calendar says the world ends in the year 2012.

So tonight I'm gonna party like it's 2011.

You fool. Dont you get it? The black guy won! Now the rest of the world will like us!

Maybe America needs to get this out of its system. Everyone has four years to learn that a black guy of modest accomplishments who is from a corrupt political machine is just like a white guy of modest accomplishments who is from a corrupt political machine. Constant media cheering was enough to get him elected. I am not sure that constant media support will be enough for Obama to maintain his Messiah mystique when his policies are likely to lead us to a depression.

"Liked, liked, liked! I can’t wait to be liked. Bring on the “free” sh*t baby!"

Yes, it's going to be interesting pretty soon, when the free gasoline and no-pay mortgages don't appear. Hmmm...

The election was crooked. It was wrong for McCain to concede.

Proud to be a Tennessean! Free Republic is full of fighters. We’ll fight for what is right. Let them have their victory. It will be short-lived. Ignore the smug attitudes of the libs and stay the course for the battle that is before us. They have enough rope and you know what they say about that.

First things the Pubs in Congress do is take a page from the Dims’ playbook. Cooperate in NOTHING the Dims propose. Vote and say ‘NO’ [unless a particular GOPer aspires to run for the Presidency. Then he can vote “Present”] Come up with no proposals or programs of your own. Let the voters get what they wish. Obstruct everything. Vote against EVERY Obama nominee for ANYTHING. Scorched earth. Call them liars at every turn. Go after every official, individual and organization that engaged in voter fraud.Go for jail, impeachment, and financially bankrupting them.

For the rest of us: Boycott the MSM and their TV counterparts. Stop buying from companies that helped Obama win. Treat him with the same courtesy Dims treated ‘W’. He governs us. He'll never represent us.

“talk to our neighbors and earn money and donate it to conservative causes and educate the children and win hards and minds.”

I think it’s much more than money. Money is a barometer of support.
I’m disgusted the Republican party does not reach out to younger voters. They have done a terrible job in this area.

We need to point out why the R party is the place to be; it is the future. Freedom is a better choice than socialism.

I recall in ‘92 the MSM went a long way to get Beelzebubba elected, then no more that two weeks past when they all turned on him. After all - bad news sells, and the MSM is in business to make money.

Who knows, they just might wind up doing the job for us. They’re nothing more than a pack of Hyenas.

“Won’t Get Fooled Again”

We’ll be fighting in the streets
With our children at our feet
And the morals that they worship will be gone
And the men who spurred us on
Sit in judgement of all wrong
They decide and the shotgun sings the song

I’ll tip my hat to the new constitution
Take a bow for the new revolution
Smile and grin at the change all around
Pick up my guitar and play
Just like yesterday
Then I’ll get on my knees and pray
We don’t get fooled again

The change, it had to come
We knew it all along
We were liberated from the fold, that’s all
And the world looks just the same
And history ain’t changed
‘Cause the banners, they are flown in the next war

I’ll tip my hat to the new constitution
Take a bow for the new revolution
Smile and grin at the change all around
Pick up my guitar and play
Just like yesterday
Then I’ll get on my knees and pray
We don’t get fooled again
No, no!

I’ll move myself and my family aside
If we happen to be left half alive
I’ll get all my papers and smile at the sky
Though I know that the hypnotized never lie
Do ya?

There’s nothing in the streets
Looks any different to me
And the slogans are replaced, by-the-bye
And the parting on the left
Are now parting on the right
And the beards have all grown longer overnight

I’ll tip my hat to the new constitution
Take a bow for the new revolution
Smile and grin at the change all around
Pick up my guitar and play
Just like yesterday
Then I’ll get on my knees and pray
We don’t get fooled again
Don’t get fooled again
No, no!

(apologies to Pete Townsend)

Personally I would prefer if it was in all reality a coup but that is not so. I guess the American people are truly as indoctrinated as I had only glimpsed in my nightmares.

Patooey!

Read some of the posts within the last hour. They border on treason. I cannot get behind talk of treason.

You're correct.
"The One" has built himself up to be something he isn't. As his promises fall so will his popularity among those who were sold a bill of goods.
Whatever goes around, comes around.

I agree with what you are saying about the MSM. But they are fast becoming irrelevant. My point was that even with all the advantages of the media our guy still got 48%. The jig is up and most people are on to the scam. Yes, we have some more work to do but things will never be this bad again.

Once the "hope" and "change" becomes just "more of the same" then watch as they turn on each other.

Amen. This is the best they can do, from a situation standpoint. Public campaign finance is dead, so no huge advantage next time. The chances of us holding an election so close to economic upheaval again in our lifetime is close to nill. The chance to justify electing a charismatic leftist because he’s the first black man is over.

I’m willing to give President Obama a fair shake. If he stays within the bounds of the law, let him try his policies and see what the next election brings.

The two jokers in the deck are the actions of our enemies overseas and the specter of President Obama thinking that you can treat the USA as one big Chicago. The first could rally the country behind whoever is in office, if it happens close to the 2010 elections, or ruin him if he pulls a Chamberlain. The second will bring him down pretty fast, and he may not be able to see it.
