First, could Obama’s camp be that insidious? I mean, should I wear a tin foil hat?

No. The Republicans didn't put up a strong field of candidates and the one they ultimately picked was sorry.

Bob Dole deserved to lose. Why should Bob Dole II be any different?

Without Sarah Palin, most here would have thrown in the towel long ago.

Mac is down 600K votes with 71% reporting. Can the precincts remaining make that up? I can’t imagine so.

McCain spending a boatload of cash, a TON of cash, in a blue state that simply could not be turned in a bad year for us caused a domino effect in other states, because that money was missing from states like Ohio, Florida, North Carolina, Virginia. In a way the IDIOTS who insisted that indeed Pennsylvania was easily going to McCain, and who sold McCain on it, very well might have cost us this election.

Damn the pollyanish resident Pennsylvania anecdotalers and poll deniers. THANKS A LOT.

After Carter came Reagan. Not looking forward to four years of stagflation again, though.

If he wins, I’ll concede that it’s God judgment on America for the sin of abortion.

We stopped off at a Perpetual Adoration chapel tonight and I left feeling at peace, but also that God may think America needs a generation or two of chastisement under socialism to appreciate the freedom we're throwing away. Perhaps Obama will have a miraculous conversion. Or something. God is still in control. All will be well, and all will be well, and all manner of things will be well. I refuse to give in to despair.

What happened to all those rednecks who were going to vote for McCain? Where were the Hillary supporters that were never going to vote for Obama?

I’m looking at the SOS official returns updated at 10:30 and comparing them to Fox News. They don’t match. BHO’s numbers are higher and McCain’s are lower on FN. Wonder why?

I remember after the 2004 election, Starr Jones on “The View” was yelling and bitching about George W. Bush.

She wailed, “He may be THE president, but he’s not MY president!”

Maybe white people should say the same about Mr. Obama?

And that’s another thing, after January 20th, why should we address him as President Obama? The mainstream news media constantly referred to President George W. Bush as “Mr. Bush.” So we should return the favor and address the new president as “Mr. Obama.”

Not looking good in RED York County right now: http://ycwebserver.york-county.org/election/county.html

40% of precints reporting:

64/159 40.25%
Vote Count Percent Dem - Barack OBAMA 25,020 44.80%
Rep - John MCCAIN 29,843 53.44%

That type of margin will never counteract the 800 lb gorilla of Filthadelphia.

As of right now, The diff out of Philly proper is about 36,000 more for Fauxbama than for Kerry, Allegheny is slightly higher than 04, about 4,000 more.

Question is how did the rest of the state do related to 04.

I’m shocked. Either the Pennsylvanians enjoy being insulted, or there was massive fraud on a scale never seen before. Obama/Biden did everything they could to lose the state, from making comments about bitter Pennsylvanians clinging to their guns and religion, being racist, and promising to bankrupt one of their industries (coal). Bush only lost by 3% to Kerry, and McCain gets thrashed by a black Marxist who insulted the heck out of the state??

Excellent point. PA deserves what they get. Unfortunately, the rest of us don't.

It can’t......pulling heads out of butts right now would be good....;)

Agreed.

We can continue to keep our head in the sand and ignore reality, or we can face the fact that President Bush and neo"conservatism" are loathed.

I choose not to enlist in the Ostrich Brigade.

This will be as bad as Kerry if not worse

I was energized by the large turnouts

I can't believe Obama appealed that much to these voters--I kept hearing reports of life long democrats going for McCain

What the hell happened

Don’t even trust Fox News. Even if Rupert Murdoch is storming through the offices looking for someone to fire, there are plenty of committed socialist Democrats working everywhere in the press, and they’re out to manufacture news to advance their agenda, regardless of how dishonest they have to be to do it. That’s the way it is. We can only hope that the people counting the actual votes are a little more honest, but I have my doubts.

So let me see if I get this. In Philadelphia there are 1.3 million people over the age of 18 and possibly eligible to vote. There have been 568k votes for OB and 112k for MP. That is nearly 700k votes out of a population of 1.3 million. Seriously, 50% of the possible voters turned out and in favor of OB by 4 to 1.

These numbers don’t add up.

Likewise an almost even split in rural Lancaster. BS!

Also, all the other precincts in PA have not reported. Something is not right here.
