It was over when we nominated McCain.

The Republican party is dead.

Call for a new party, a real CONSERVATIVE party NOW.

Can we, finally abandon this sinking ship?

Yep. This is over. Gonna be a blowout.

Bradley Effect? Oversampling of Democrats? Nope. Nada. Nothing but wishful thinking on our part.

Looks like it's the liberals' turn to run things for a while. Life goes on folks.

All over but the shooting. Stock up on guns and ammo. Use them whenever necessary.

3 words... massive voter fraud. Unfortunately McCain will concede early and the investigations will go on for years.

Well, two things that are weak issues but serve as silver linings:

1) With power comes responsibility. Any Bush policy that the Dems don’t like can now be reversed. So they now have to stop whining and go ahead and vote.

2) The GOP now better go back and figure out what they stand for. Here are some things they shouldn’t stand for: a) Kowtowing to K Street lobbyists (especially with special favors to connected corporations as opposed to general tax rate reductions). b) jacking up domestic spending. c) earmarks. d) liberalizing immigration.

The newscasters are blaming Palin for Maverick’s loss. Frankly, I am wondering what would have happened in PA and OH if Ridge or Romney were on the ticket? Hmmmm.

I emigrated here over 40 years ago to get away from Socialism! Now I’m going to be right back in it, way worse than the U.K. was at the time a left. Never thought I would see it here.

I don’t understand how the vote can be called with only 9% of the returns in.

Be strong, have faith. Even if BO wins, we Freepers are NOT crybaby democrats sitting on the couch waiting for a Messiah to pay our mortgages, put gas in our tanks, etc. We’ll all just have to work harder, squirrel our money away from the Greedy Hand, and BE HAPPY. If we lose tonight, we’ll have another chance in four years.

What we DON’T need to do is sound like a bunch of whiney lib demo-victims. We’re better than that! God bless America!

We lived through the Clintons, we will live through Obama.

Clinton at least had some executive experience. Obama has never so much as run a hot dog stand.

It’s been over. We were just too blind or stupid to admit it. I urge you all to do everything in your power to ruin this beast’s presidency and his ability to lead. Don’t support him or his policies EVER, no matter what.

12.5% counted...NOT TIME TO GIVE UP. Really...wait til up over 70% plus counted. There are still variables out there...they are going to be taking some of these ‘calls’ back. Nothing is official yet.

"For the first time, in my adult life, I am ashamed of my country... "

If Obama won Ohio and PA then it is OVER. I am not really surprised...the average American is a moron- more interested in American Idol and Dancing With the Stars than what is going on in politics and real issues. Sadly we will ALL pay for their mistake. Goodnight America...nice knowing ya!

There won’t be investigations—the Demons are in charge of everything.

I didn’t want to believe our fellow Americans could be so STUPID, but unfortunately, they are...and more! The freebies and giveaways attracted the idiots. I will take no pleasure in saying “I told you so” to anyone who voted for Zero.

We need to get back to basics. We need to rebalance the media, clean out waste, fraud and corruption. It may need to start at the grass roots. I simply don’t know where to begin right now....

It will be a rocky, rocky ride. Best of luck to everyone!

Love how the msm is telling us the economy is #1 issue.

This wasn’t an election, it was an IQ test for the U.S.; and sadly we just failed.

You got that right. Of course this all started with Clinton's motor voter law and went down hill from there. Anyone with a pulse (or not) can vote.

Correct. This is where we throw out all of the party heads and clean out our own backyard. Move the freaking primaries UP from the southern states..we have blue state RINO’s picking our nominees.

What a joke. I never bought into the McCain hype...the polls ALWAYS showed Obama up. Yes, there is bias but we need to get real. Indoctrination of our schools is at critical mass. We have to rescue our kids first and build from the ground up.
