So far:
Turnout at GOP precincts has been unbelievable.
In Darke Couty, which went 2:1 for Bush in 04, they are looking at 80% turnout and thousands of additional R voters.
In Allen County, heavy R turnout.
In Montgomery County (Kerry won by 2% in 04), the west side (D) precincts are coming in under 20% by mid-afternoon!!! Our R precincts are outpacing them 2:1.
Reports of other red counties are at tremendously high levels.
BASED ON THIS . . . .
wait for it
not only would I "call" Ohio now for McCain, but it's entirely likely he could end up being a sizeable statewide victory margin. I won't tell you yet what it could be, but it portends amazing things for the rest of the states.
Larry, here’s hoping your observations play out in America’s favor. If McPalin does pull this out, we will surely be treated to MSM accusations of “angry white guy” syndrome.
I hope Ohio comes through! We in Michigan are doing best but it’s hard not to be demoralized here.
I’m already getting busy for 2010. No matter who wins, we need to turn things around in Congress, and we need to start NOW.
Same here. I’m fully ready for any funny business. If anyone comes around here causing trouble they won’t know what hit them.
I live pretty far out in the country. Family at home tonight already and we don’t plan on going anywhere tomorrow.
Everything locked and loaded.
Hi LS,
It’s been almost a decade I’ve known you through FR, and seeing you are so certain you’re putting this out this early, I’m taking your word for it and am getting excited about it right now.
Also, everyone could check out LS’s new book, 48 Liberal Lies About American History: (That You Probably Learned in School), I gave it to two younger cousins just entering freshman year of undergrad, I hope it gives them a better perspective on their uni educations.
For some perspective for Freepers who don’t know much about Ohio’s county by County breakdown:

25 key counties to watch tonight
By CHARLES MAHTESIAN | 11/4/08 2:24 PM EST
9) Franklin County, Ohio: Ohios second-largest population hub after Clevelands Cuyahoga County, Columbus Franklin County is trending increasingly Democratic. Since Cincinnatis Hamilton County is no longer a reliable Republican bulwark, a big Obama win here would go a long way toward sinking McCains chances in the state.
10) Butler County, Ohio: Cincinnatis suburban Butler County was a key part of the exurban and micropolitan firewall that enabled Bush to carry Ohio in 2004. The 54,000-vote margin it delivered to Bush was his largest in any county in the state.
11) Mahoning County, Ohio: As a vote source, Youngstowns Mahoning County pales next to Cuyahoga County, Franklin County, Daytons Montgomery County, Akrons Summit County or Toledos Lucas County. But the results here will be revealing because if Obama is running below 60 percent in this industrial area, thats a bad sign for him and it probably signals hes struggling in western Pennsylvania, too.
LS... I’m hyperventilating. Please be right. Please.
This what I have predicted on this site for the past three weeks-that the Republican turnout would be the largest in Republican history. I truly understand the charisma of Sarah Palin. Palin power is an overwehelming force. The people who support Sara love her without qualification. They would ‘walk through a brick wall for her or ‘take a bullet for her.’ If John McCain becomes President it will because of Sarah Palin. There is no way that he could have caused this record turnout if he had put ‘another boring white guy on the ticket’.
Man, if you are right, dinner at your fav restaurant is on me. Save this message, I'll pay up. Landslide is 60-?? popular or 300 electorals.
“If this proves true, lock your doors and turn out the lights, because there will be blood.”
You think I might see the glow of riot fires on the Chicago horizon from my suburban home? “The whole world’s watching”. 1968
Hannity reports Toledo police are issuing riot gear. Do you think they believe that McCain supporters will riot? Doubtful. Something big is up here.
Man, if you are right, dinner at Wendy's is on me. :-) Save this message, I'll pay up. Landslide is 60-?? popular or 300 electorals.
Our McCain chairman did a cyber swing around SW OH early today, and was told in every red precinct there was unusually high activity, sometimes lines going around the block.
Our motto in 2004 was, if the Rs come out, Bush can't lose. Well, the Rs have come out even heavier than in 2004. And they were checking IDs at polling stations.
Republican Storm Rising?
If so, it's mostly due to Sarah Palin. I'll give McCain his due, though - he closed out the campaign extremely well and showed much more energy and enthusiasm than I expected.
We'll need every last vote to counter the fraud-o-rama of the big cities.
Now this means something. Thanks for the shot in the arm!
*In Allen County, heavy R turnout*
Hey LS, those are some of my relatives, better be the same for Auglaize Co.
