Pennsylvania governor Ed Rendell told reporters this afternoon that he is "optimistic, but by no means overconfident" about Barack Obama's chances in the state.
Speaking at the city political establishment's annual luncheon at the Famous 4th Street Deli in Queen Village, Rendell said that voter turnout "looks to be good all over the state," and is "going to be very good" in Philadelphia - although not as high as he had hoped.
That may be good news,I voted in Lancaster County[the most conservative county in Pa. at 7 a.m. this morning ,there was a line at that time !!

Rendell’s idea of a poor turn out is that Philly precincts are only reporting 110% vice 125% of registered voters.
Does this mean precincts in Philly are only reporting a 102% turnout and not the usual 108-112% turnout?
fox news is saying the Black panther representative says that they do have people out but not anyone at that location.
“What? If McCain wins PA his chances of winning the Presidency are 90+ %.”
I would say almost 100% unless this really gets weird.

Fast Eddie Rendell has been telegraphing for weeks that 0bama needed to pay more attention to PA. And, the funny thing is, I think he’s relishing the 0bama pending loss. He’s in tight with Hillary.

If Obama loses Pennsylvania, where does he make up the 21 points?
If McCain wins Pennsylvania, he is assured Ohio. Florida and Missouri won't go Obama's way if Pennsylvania falls, and Virginia and North Carolina are pipe dreams anyway.
So where does he get the points? Texas?
I have read that Obama has to come out of Philadelphia with a large lead to overcome the rural areas and western coal mining areas of Pennsylvania.
