I don’t hold much hope that McCain can overcome the extensive cheating that’s going on. That’s why the ‘Rats are so confident. They know they stole it.

Have had trouble connected to FR — Isn’t there a back up site on Yahoo or somewhere just in case?

I hope she is right also. If Obummer wins our troops need to demand to come out of Iraq and Afganistan. They do not have America;s support and America does not deserve their support. Also, this will be another election those that fight for us do not have their ballots counted. If Obummer goes in office I will have Jeremiah Wrights sentiments! We do not deserve any better.>

A lot of us bitter clingers just refuse to give up. Bill Kristol, Fred Barnes, Tammy Bruce, Ezra Levant and yours truly. Yeah, the Democrats will cheat, no doubt. But that's why I think its gonna be different the MSM wants to report tonight. They have no idea what is happening in America.

I agree with your attitude. Bruce's statement is based on the way we used to chose political leaders, beginning when people used candles and quills to write their histories, and wore wigs when they went to meetings.

But focusing on the character of public officials first and foremost, has been cut out of our body politic, as if it were a cancer. I hope there is enough left to defeat this fraud of a candidate, and fraud of a man, Barack Obama. But at this point on this day, I wouldn't bet on it. Alas.

I’d like to believe this, but .... I voted in Northern Virginia this morning, and I have never seen the lines so long. In ‘04 it took me 15 minutes to vote; this morning it took 1 1/2 hours. Now the bad news: as far as I could see (and judge) likely Obama supporters including youths and minorities, outnumbered likely McCain supporters ~ 20:1.

That's precisely the reason that we lose ground: the inherent characteristic of decency. We don't cheat and we've mistakenly believed that that characteristic has been present in all voters and people in authority. But recent history has shown us what we are up against.

Bottom line: John McCain will prevail because we have grown tired of men who think more of themselves than they do of us.

Amen to that!

Rom 12:3
3 For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.

Regardless of the outcome, the more votes for McCain the better, so make sure EVERYONE you know goes out and votes (for McCain, of course!)

I must admit, while I’m hopeful, I’m a little depressed because McCain is on the wrong side of all the traditional voodoo presidential predictors like the Redskins Last Home Game, The Weekly Reader poll, etc. I think the only one that favors McCain is the Lakers in the NBA Finals.

BUT there is one other that greatly favors McCain and that is my own Conventional Wisdom Rule which says the CW will produce a result that is completely opposite of what is predicted. CW has bad karma. HA!

“I hope she’s right!”

Me too, but two things in my life make me very pessimistic today.

My son was at a party talking politics with friends. My son is voting McCain and is a minority in the 20 something crowd. One of the kids at the party said: “Your wrong, and you don’t even know why you’re wrong”. So, my son said, ok, I’m wrong, explain? The kid replied: “I don’t want to talk to you.” Typical lib, and typical of kids.

Today when I voted, there were a LOT of kids in the polling place. More than I’ve ever seen.

I would bet money Obama will win today, and I’m quite depressed.

I get it down to 10 states. Indiana(11), Missouri(11), North Carolina(15), Florida(27), Ohio(20), Nevada(5), Virginia(13), New Mexico(5), Colorado(9), Pennsylvania(21).

Mac need to win 107 out of these 137 Electoral votes.

Mac should win Indiana, Missouri, North Carolina, & Florida Easily. Ohio, Nevada, Virginia, New Mexico, Colorado & Pennsylvania will be a challenge.

If Mac loses any 2 of the following its OVER. North Carolina, Florida, Ohio, Virginia, Pennsylvania. He cannot overcome.

ABC, NBC and SeeBS interviewed the same pundits this morning. They say the election will come down to Virginia, North Carolina and Florida. Add in Ohio. If any of those states go for Obama 'It's All Over.' They claim if any of them fall for Obama, the networks to call the election early. East coast will be in the box by 6 PM Pacific Time.

Pennsylvania will be close, but with Philly being be so obviously corrupt . . . 'Nuff said here on FR.

So what are the chances that the guy standing next to me on line voting this morning is also voting McCain. And he tells me that he knows a lot like us. I just got done telling this story to my McCain-supporting neighbors to cheer them. And we’re in Manhattan—imagine the red states! ;)

Obama insists he looks the part so he insists we give it to him.

Well, it worked for President Martin Sheen, didn't it or did it?
