Why McCain Will Win

Why McCain Will Win

For several months now, before the polls were in a dead heat, before Joe the Plumber, before Obama let it slip he’s a socialist with Marxist tendencies, even before he revealed his plan to make the bitter and clingy unemployed by bankrupting the coal industry, I have been predicting a McCain win on November 4th. Now, as the campaigning comes to a close, I am more confident than ever.

In the simplest of terms McCain will win because he is the better, more decent man. Obama, not having those virtues, relied on hype and hoped celebrity would give people the impression of greatness. Obama’s celebrity strategy did make an impression–one of arrogance and elitism, exactly the things in Washington with which we’re disgusted and rejecting. McCain’s victory will rely on a number of reasons but ultimately it’s because he is a vote for our future, while Obama is a vote for wallowing in victimhood.

Bottom line: John McCain will prevail because we have grown tired of men who think more of themselves than they do of us.

Despite his efforts to remain as blank a slate as possible, in the last few months we’ve actually learned quite a few things about Barack Obama, and Americans we don’t like what we see. His arrogance and presumption reeks of elitist snobbery. We’ve endured an Obama presidential seal,“O-Force One,” a Styrofoam-pillared Greek temple, and an infomercial replete with pseudo-Oval Office replica and Really Presidential Looking desk. In other words, Obama insists he looks the part so he insists we give it to him. On November 4th Obama will find we are not quite as shallow as he thinks we are.

“I hope she’s right!”

Me too, but two things in my life make me very pessimistic today.

My son was at a party talking politics with friends. My son is voting McCain and is a minority in the 20 something crowd. One of the kids at the party said: “Your wrong, and you don’t even know why you’re wrong”. So, my son said, ok, I’m wrong, explain? The kid replied: “I don’t want to talk to you.” Typical lib, and typical of kids.

Today when I voted, there were a LOT of kids in the polling place. More than I’ve ever seen.

I would bet money Obama will win today, and I’m quite depressed.

If Obummer wins our troops need to demand to come out of Iraq and Afganistan.

I feel really badly for the military. If Hussein wins and succeeds in destroying our country, I couldn't possibly imagine anyone wishing to serve the country in any capacity. We will enter an era of sheer cynicism; who in their right mind would do anything other than game the system in the hopes of getting out?

I get it down to 10 states. Indiana(11), Missouri(11), North Carolina(15), Florida(27), Ohio(20), Nevada(5), Virginia(13), New Mexico(5), Colorado(9), Pennsylvania(21).

Mac need to win 107 out of these 137 Electoral votes.

Mac should win Indiana, Missouri, North Carolina, & Florida Easily. Ohio, Nevada, Virginia, New Mexico, Colorado & Pennsylvania will be a challenge.

If Mac loses any 2 of the following its OVER. North Carolina, Florida, Ohio, Virginia, Pennsylvania. He cannot overcome.

Perhaps you were behind the Obama’s in line this morning. (Oh, wait, you’re in Northern Virginia).

I’m just trying to take a cheap shot at how long they took to vote, soaking up some more media attention.

(Maybe they were undecided...?) /sarcasm

Bottom line: John McCain will prevail because we have grown tired of men who think more of themselves than they do of us.

When have we embraced them in recent history?

Dukakis

Gore

Kerry

Clinton won because he conned enough people (though never a majority) that he "felt" people's pain.

You're forgetting NObama's proposal to create a People's Revolutionary Citizen National Security Service. Plenty of Marxists and second-handers willing to live off the government trough by informing on their neighbors.

ABC, NBC and SeeBS interviewed the same pundits this morning. They say the election will come down to Virginia, North Carolina and Florida. Add in Ohio. If any of those states go for Obama 'It's All Over.' They claim if any of them fall for Obama, the networks to call the election early. East coast will be in the box by 6 PM Pacific Time.

Pennsylvania will be close, but with Philly being be so obviously corrupt . . . 'Nuff said here on FR.

Just saw the lines of young voters in some of the cities on TV’s across america for the last 1 hour and I can already tell the signs.

City people vote liberal. They're all on the dole, one way or another.

Come on guys, keep your heads up! Let’s not forget the PUMAS who could easily outweigh any gains with young voters (BTW, I SAW mostly older voters where I was!).

GO PUMAS!!!

“I don’t hold much hope that McCain can overcome the extensive cheating that’s going on. That’s why the ‘Rats are so confident. They know they stole it.”

That was the impression I got in 2004 when CNN wouldn’t call Ohio for Bush, even though he was leading Kerry by over 100,000 votes.

Idon’t hold much hope that McCain can overcome the extensive cheating that’s going on. That’s why the ‘Rats are so confident. They know they stole it.

Democrats are just believing their own propaganda.

McCain is going to win big.

So what are the chances that the guy standing next to me on line voting this morning is also voting McCain. And he tells me that he knows a lot like us. I just got done telling this story to my McCain-supporting neighbors to cheer them. And we’re in Manhattan—imagine the red states! ;)

I would bet money Obama will win today, and I’m quite depressed.

I'll take that bet.

The youth vote hasn't turned out and just seeing some kids voting doesn't change the fact that Obama is going to need millions of new voters to make up for the ones that he is losing to the Hillary voters and Reagan Democrats.
