TOLEDO, OHIO -- Toledo police are gearing up for possible "Civil unrest" during and after tomorrow's elections.
In an internal memo obtained exclusively by NBC 24 News, officers are ordered to "Have their riot equipment with them Tuesday and Wednesday". Police chief Mike Navarre confirms, officers will have gear similar to the equipment they used during the 2005 race riots. "They have been asked to have their helmets and their gas masks available tomorrow and Wednesday.", Navarre says, "That's the equipment they would not normally carry with them on a normal day".
Navarre also says, officers will not be stationed at individual polling stations. But the memo says otherwise. It reads, "On Tuesday, units shall be directed to patrol the polling locations".

First time in my life I have been afraid of civil unrest in America. There is a festering hatred of all things ‘white’ that has been fostered by the race hustlers like Sharpton, Jackson, and Wright. To say nothing of the evildoer Obama.
This could get ugly over a long period of time.

This whole election is so out of hand. My son is a senior in HS, the demographics here have changed considerably in the past 3 yrs. The black kids at school were bragging that they are hitting the streets whether Obama wins or loses. I don’t know that they really will but still the thought of it is disturbing.
My conservative Atlanta suburb had training two weeks ago in full SWAT gear including storming a house. I have never seen that in 15 years living here.
I live in NYS.
In NYS we have a duty to retreat.
Rioting and looting will be necessary in order for the black market to stock up in case obama wins.

Those who chose to undermine our laws and electoral process by rioting are creating a third-world country right here on American soil by creating chaos. By their very act of rioting when something does not go according to their desires they are undoing hundreds of years of our laws. We have a reason and a right to elect our officials based on experience NOT because we are afraid a bunch of goons will riot!
It is indeed a scary time when our country and the world will listen to goons, rioters, thugs, and terrorist before they listen to law-abiding citizens! MY 2 cents
