Just reported.
Jo,
I am having to run but her obituary just hit the wires, can you post this as an article?

You people are amazing. All of you with your vile comments at a time like this. I’m ashamed to be in the same forum with you. I would expect to see this disgusting behavior in DU. I am so sad to see it here.
I’m done. Knock yourselves out. Have your fun at the expense of the deceased. I pity you, and one last time ask you to remember the lessons in common decency that your parents and grandparents taught you.
Don’t ping me again to speculation about this.
An old woman has died. It’s no surprise, she was ill. The polite thing to do is give condolences to her family.
I would not ask for or expect an autopsy, forcryingoutloud.
Will post!
Add into it the massive stress she must be going through watching the election as well as I’m sure the press has been hounding her. It may be simply related because of the stress but not fishy..
This is not directed at your post at all. Thanks for the ping.
What I think and what I say in public are two different things. The less said about the situation the better. Speech that can be spun as hate by the media, plays into their hands.
I stopped reading the threads on Obama’s grandmother. I know that I will find something offensive that will be repeated on O’Reilly, Chris Matthews, Olbermann’s show. We will all be painted with the same broad brush as whacked out kooks reveling in conspiracy theories about the timing of the issue.
If she died in a hospice there won’t be an autopsy.
My condolences to those who truly loved her. I agree with Rummy Chick. My mother died 11 months ago today and it was at home. Hospice provided all meds and told us what to do.
When the head nurse came I complained that my mom was still in so much pain and could we please give her the morphine sooner then scheduled. Her reply was Go Right Ahead. If she was in the hospice center they would do it. I came upstairs and told my sister, who had been logging the meds and she was afraid we might kill her accidently. I explained what the hospice nurse told me and reminded sis that mom was dying and we promised we would keep her as comfortable as possible. After that we kept her well medicated so she didnt feel any pain. We kept our promise. My sister had peace of mind. My mom died a week later. But my point is Hospice said give her what you feel she needs. I was the one to make the choice and I made it. I have no regrets. The whole concept of hospice is to die at home in comfort and peace with your loved ones around you.
BTW,Mom would’ve voted McCain and she would have loved Sarah.
At that age a broken hip is enough to cause the death of someone. My step-mother died at age 83 after she broke her hip. They put her in a nursing home and she got MERSA.
I just heard on the radio news she died of complications from cancer.
May Mrs Dunham rest in peace.
Yes we are. The rest I already know. We are not the ones that need to be convinced to vote for McCain. The over the top disrespect shown on FR makes me ashamed.
Mrs. Dunham, thank you for doing what you could to raise your grandchild and, as said, to love him very much. Rest in peace.
Prayers for the entire family and friends who will miss her.
