I just watched it. I thought he said he wasn't taking coal off the table as an ideological matter (like the SF libs would like) but that it had to be clean and cap and trade would bankrupt new plants. Did I hear that wrong?

Even so, this is devastating for Obama not only for the coal states of IL, Ohio, VA, West VA and PA but across the board given how much electricity would go up if this came to be.

California imports most of its energy from coal fired plants. Their remaining gas fired plants would be deprived of gas since that comes from sources further East.

Almost all the West coast hydro power comes from government owned dams ~ and that would also be shipped East to provide power to Washington DC and military bases.

Californians might not freeze to death in the dark, but they'd Fur Shur have to give up refrigeration, air conditioning and their massive waterworks that pump water from the North to the South.

Everything from San Jose South would need to be abandoned to return to desert. Millions of Mexicans would find themselves up against the Southern border denied entry by a heaily armed Mexican military.

Tens of millions of people will die within weeks of the beginning of an Obama regime.
