Day 21: IBD/TIPP Tracking Poll
The race tightened again Sunday as independents who'd been leaning to Obama shifted to McCain to leave that key group a toss-up. McCain also pulled even in the Midwest, moved back into the lead with men, padded his gains among Protestants and Catholics, and is favored for the first time by high school graduates.

Precisely, I also believe that if my prediction is correct, and we win by somewhere north of 5% popular vote, we have a legit shot at taking back the House of Representatives.

Here’s a better way to look at it
Obama 46.7%
McCain 44.6% plus 75% of the 8.7% undecideds Equals 51.12%
The remainder of the undecided are non voters

"4 years of President McCain, 8 years of President Palin." More like 20 years....4 McCain/Palin, 8 Palin/Jindal, 8 Jindal/Joe (the plumber)
Cleaning guns, buckets of sand in place, ammo at hand.....

Dude, I think I am now a believer! :) The reasons why Obama is now scrambling for votes in places like Virginia, North Carolina, Indiana, North Dakota, Arizona, Georgia, and other places where Dem candidates for President go to die is now suddenly seeming so clear.

Fauxbama’s absolute statistical max is 47-48% nationally, realistically I expect him to come in no higher than 45-46, with a good chance it will be lower than even that. He is not winning this thing folks, and never was.

LOL...I absolutely love your posts!! One thing that HamiltonJay does not lack...ENTHUSIASM.
BTW, I agree that things are looking better and better for our girl (and the her 72 years old running mate).

People are starting to have second thoughts about Obama and are not so sure that he isn’t the Manchurian candidate.

They have McCain up 54-40 among men. NOW the polls are showing some reality.
No way Obama was polling equal with men.

Thats the frustrating thing. TIPP/IBD is one of the most accurate polls and it seems to track what other polls show McCain is losing in everyone of them. Oversampling of Democrats.
Our turnout will match theirs and many Democrats will vote for McCain.
McCain is going to win this.

One of the polls done in Florida on early voters showed Obama only getting support from 35% of white men. But somehow the same poll says Obama “has the edge” in the state.

I’ve already apologized for letting the liberals get to me this morning. We continue to make calls here to battleground states.
