My take is that the MSM / Lamestream Media is out to suppress the GOP vote.

They are WAAAAAAYYYY overpolling Democraps in their polls, IGNORING factual stories negative for Obama and doing EVERYTHING they can to SMEAR McCain and especially PALIN with their lies.

I think this will blow up in their faces. When GOP voters see the tainted polls slanted to favor Socialist Obama, the GOP fence-sitters will crawl across broken glass to KEEP the Socialist Obama outta the White House !!!

Here in Texas, the first day of Early Voting set ALL TIME records for turnout. ALMOST DOUBLE the old record (up almost 80%) !!!!

Oregon may be close, and while I wouldn’t want the election decided there will certainly not be Obama +16. That’s precisely the purpose of these push-polls, to suppress your vote.

I had a similar experience on the first day of early voting.
Went to the Garland City Hall to vote and couldn’t find a
parking space available.

So I abandoned the idea to vote the FIRST day and went to
work since I didn’t have time to wait TWO HOURS!

Went to my local Library the next day and was in and OUT in
FIVE minutes!

Voted straight ticket GOP!

Go Palin-McCain ... GO !!! :)

(I am especially proud to vote for Sam Johnson! What a great
Patriot he is!!)

man...i could spend all my posts saying just what you do and arguing with the no dissent echo chamber

this pack metality that runs here from time to time has always pissed me off regardless of how I felt about the issue at stake:

Bush, Campaign Finance Reform, anything racial, Amnesty, Harriet Meirs, Terry Schiavo, Rudy, Crevo-Evo, Mormons-Polygamy and so forth

all of these have been major fights here and there is always a crowd that thinks they own the place...used to be a cabal of crotchety middle aged FReeper women who thought this was their high school clique

Didn't want to sit back and do nothing, so I spent part of the week-end calling voters in several states and urge them to vote for John McCain. If you want, you can do the same thing by going to the following link:

They have the name, telephone number, and city and state of the voters, plus a script you can follow, but I most often just tell them to remember to vote and vote for McCain-Palin. You can pick any state to call and I picked Virginia, Ohio, Pennsylvannia. Some people just hang up, but quite a few are willing to listen, including some undecideds. I'll do some more calling tonight.
